  1. Ford Performance Track Handling Pack - What do I need?

Were you looking for outside before/after pics or something of the suspension specifically? I did post some before/after pics a few posts up, but I can post a few of the suspension on the car. They are the springs that came with the Ford Performance Track Kit. Springs were already mounted in...
  2. Ford Performance Track Handling Pack - What do I need?

For others that look at this mod (I love it), I didn't go the full Steeda Stop the Hop kit but did install the Steeda Mustang IRS Subframe Alignment Kit while I was in there. It's so odd that the bolts and washers have so much space around them in stock form. They're only $80, and will help...
  3. Aluminum Transmission pan w drain hole or plug???

I read all of the posts about them being low from the factory so I heated mine up to operating temp and check it. Yep, I had to add a quart. This is a pretty simple thing that they should get right from the factory.
  4. I'm pickup up my '20 with a new MGW shifter today

I try to keep low miles on mine, but had to loan the beater 1994 F350 dually to my daughter in-between cars so had to drive it every day for a few weeks. Loved it! I need to drive it more.
  5. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Just did mine recently. It took a lot longer than I expected. I went slow, but it still took me more than 24 hours. I figured it would take much less. I did follow the instructions on removing the battery and battery tray, so that probably added a good hour. Took my time, dressed up the O2...
  6. How did I miss this hidden feature?

That's where the owners manual was when I bought mine. I couldn't find it and reached out to them and even they didn't know where it was. Doh!
  7. Open Discussion: What Have Been Your Favorite Mods to Date?

I've been doing mods slowly with a lot of research, so love them all so far. JLT and E85 tune Ford Performance Track handling pack Long tubes Those three knocked a half second off of my ET, which was good, even with the horrible DA at Firebird Raceway in Eagle. (usually around 4400, 4681 right...
  8. Open Discussion: What Have Been Your Favorite Mods to Date?

Holy cow, I also live in Eagle, ID. Cool.
  9. Worst Day Ever!!- Say it aint so!!!

Not to call anyone out, but I was thinking the same thing about some of the comments. Talk about kicking a guy when he's down.
  10. Indoor Car Cover

A sheet is a good idea. My garage is dusty as can be, but I was always concerned with scratches and tend to live with the dust until I can foam and wash as usual. Anyone use a sheet, and do you tend to get scratches? I just polished mine out with my DA polisher and then had it ceramic coated...
  11. 2019 GT trans/rear diff fluid change

Usually if I drive mine around for a bit (takes about 10 miles at least) and do some paddle shifting, I can usually get mine up to temp. You're right, it's definitely not a quick process!
  12. spray bottle cleaning

I've used the quick detail spray from Chemical Guys. Like many have said, you can definitely introduce scratches, so if I do use it, I spray it on pretty thick, wipe one way with a clean part of the microfiber, fold it up a little and wipe the next swath. Only one pass per clean part of the...
  13. Who else is super OCD about interiors?

I am. I like it clean, with nothing out. I don't live in a place where cars get broken into, but like it clean and tidy. I also love the smell after conditioning the leather, so I do that every few months.
  14. Shelby wide body kit

    Wow, looks fantastic!
  15. Refeshing Dead Batteries

Not Mustang-specific, but I came across a video last year that I've been wanting to try. We have a camping trailer and the two 12v batteries were DEAD. They weren't in good shape last year so I didn't even charge them since a trip that we made last summer. I tried this last weekend. It's...
  16. Roush Tune issue?

Mine is still na, just a JLT, long tubes E85 (and 91) tune from PBD, and it shifts hard also when under a load. If I'm just cruising, feels stock. A little bit of throttle, and it shifts pretty hard and will sometimes make it look like I'm driving a manual and don't know how to shift. I like...
  17. ESS supercharger options

I'm torn, thinking of the G2 (laughs from the crowd) since I don't plan on big numbers. I want something that continues to handle great, has great brakes and still makes 600rwhp+. I figure I can always go E85 at some point if I want to run quicker at the drags, but I just matched the G2 and...
