Rats are pretty intelligent also. When their friends start disappearing, sometimes they'll move along. My father in law had a big hedge in his front yard years ago, full of rats. He killed a few with rat traps and within a few weeks they'd moved.

Agree with comments on wheels, that's going to be the most dramatic change. I love the PP2 wheels (mine is a PP1), but there are so many great looking wheels out there that options are almost unlimited. Mine was also tinted darker by the previous owner.
