The supposed non-dragable 350 is already in the 11's and over 120. The R's will be 3 tenths and 2 mph faster than that. You will be blown in the weeds in your SS even on a hero run with an automatic, and when the curves start, you will be burnt toast, then after 3 or 4 hard brakings, probably...
You went out on a limb and sawed it off. It is already faster in the quarter mile, ET and speed, and cheaper, out handling it won't be a stretch, and from a roll the Z will be even worse burnt toast.....keep sawing sycophant.
I find this true in my area also. The locals here formed a Ford club about 30 years ago that still lives today. It was started by relatively a few individuals who met at the local dragstrips. They put on races and events, and hung and still hang out together. I don't know of anything as...
You have about 5 or 6 chevy sycophants that are excellent at wordy responses gleaned from 2 minutes on a google search. They don't add anything of value, no new information, no inside sources, and have no experience to comment on the things they like to talk about. They are the protectors of all...
I went from a C6 to a powerglide in my supergas car in 1986 and dropped .4 tenths with no other changes. A C6 is strong but has a lot of drag. This was common with Ford guys back then when you had to make your own adapter plate to do it.
Why do you chevy sycophants(hanging out on a Ford website), think the Camaro is not going to experience an overnight weight gain like the CTSV? Why are you so confident on a couple of magazine reviews? You have seen 122 mph run that was obviously juiced up, horsepower losses at the absolute...
To all GT350 owners to run 11's, ride your clutch out the hole at 4500 with gradual throttle input, get it all out and down at about 6500, don't lift on the throttle during shifts, put 93 in the tank.
Did anyone notice when they shifted out of 1st into 2nd, the tach dropped to about 6800-7000 grand, that thing is going to roll in second like a crazy train. It ought to be about 7200 in 4th through the lights.
Bullshit. You got one shitty review to judge it on and MT review on a camaro. I guarantee you it will destroy a SS in a quarter mile, especially mph. A Boss runs mid 12's easily, this thing will destroy a Boss. As soon as first is over at about 100 feet out its lights out.
The first guy that rides the clutch out the hole at about 4500 rpm and bangs the shifts with his foot on the floor will bust 11's, the R will do 11.7 consistently, and better when driven right.
I guarantee you this car will eat a SS alive with any transmission in any contest in the real world. When that thing hits powerband, its going to be there the rest of the day. Lot of freaking out over a shitty MT review. Its freaking MT. This thing will show a Boss its tail lights in a hurry...
That pass is an example of how mph is tied to horsepower, and et is how well you put it to the ground. The 114 is the limit, but ET is very variable. If you see a 122, you know something fishy is going on.
I started drag racing when there was 5 Fords and 150 Chevys and 20 Dodges in the lanes...I'm used to having my back against the wall! At least there is a lot more friendlies out there now...I feel bad for the Dodges, not many left out there.
