r's will run 11.7 and non r 11.9. They have to learn how to drive them. When 4.10's come out they will drop another .1 or two. And they will fly on a road course all day.

You are missing the point. Compared on the same exact dyno at near the same time, one car posts industry expected numbers for its sae rating, the other is nearly half of whats expected. Using the same dyno at the same time removes all the BIG variables. If the GT would have pulled in the 490...
Another interesting metric; the Z ran a 12.3 at 116 matching its magazine time on an unimproved surface in the heat of the desert. At some point, even the chevy nut huggers have to admit when every clue points to an anomaly, it is one. I would love to see a 7% loss R in this matchup.

I don't consider drag radials a modification for a drag-strip. They should be required for all, as its silly to leave horsepower on the table. All of these cars are well beyond that. Whats going to be even funnier is when you try one from a roll, which is going to translate to a road course...
You don't think it can do both at the same time? It bogged its ass off on the 116 and still went 11.9. When they figure out how to launch it it will go even faster/quicker. They are leaving the stock condition behind as they are performance shops. Normal owners will figure it out soon enough...
