  1. HOW???

Now I'm going to blow your mind. Someone will do it. They will be in good air, with a happy motor that can drive, but normal day, normal guys wont see it.....unless.... Im not arguing whats faster, I'm sure the maro will be on average a little faster, I'm arguing whats really under the hood of...
  2. HOW???

I did mine with a 200 pound driver.
  3. HOW???

Because its been done in the real world, so either the GT is making more power, or the trans is a tad more efficient than what is seen in the auto trans universe, same as the maro. It works both ways. But a 116 maro is at the far end of the line, isn't it?
  4. HOW???

Who was driving, the amazing massless man?
  5. HOW???

Didnt VW just get caught playing games with their tune? So it happens, right. Did we see a 122 mph caddy? yes, I think the burden of proof lies with GM.
  6. HOW???

Admit what? that the A8 in the maro is more efficient than the A8 in the vette, or chevy has defied the laws of physics and ran faster than science allows with 450 horsepower, or 458, or 470, or 480?. If the car runs 116 its making more power than they say it is, period, especially if its...
  7. HOW???

I dont trust wheel dynos, I do trust mph if I know accurate weight, I'm in "normal air" with out a big tail or head wind.
  8. HOW???

The camaro is putting out more than its rated power. And dynos are all over the place and you are cherry picking, or don't have enough measurements. Watch and see when the real world gets them.
  9. HOW???

Been telling you why for pages and pages, you just wont accept it.
  10. HOW???

Yeah, makes me a little crazy sometimes. I guess I wasted that grand on my carbon fiber driveshaft.
  11. HOW???

You make all kinds of assumptions when its in the maros favor, and discount physics, that's why you are a troll. You think they put the trans in the rear cause it looks good?
  12. HOW???

No u-joints at either end of the torque tube, smaller , lighter "driveshaft" in the torque tube so less inertia to overcome. The torque tube is in front of the reduction gears of the trans so sees less torque than a drive shaft. The mechanical connection between the crankshaft, the flywheel...
  13. HOW???

I have, and from my experience the case is light, the "guts" are heavy, with lots of areas where friction is created, It also needs to turn a pump to operate all that "stuff". That's why it tends to have a significant amount of drag compared to a stick, and should dyno lower than a stick...
  14. HOW???

    But endearing?
  15. HOW???

I'd like to see some published specs on frictional losses through it to back up that statement. You ever rebuilt an automatic transmission?
  16. HOW???

Yes vette, torque tube and coefficient of drag wise.
  17. HOW???

Yeah, houses stock cars and vacations on a mustang website.
  18. HOW???

    Why?
  19. HOW???

Lets wait and see what normal runs are, it wont be much longer, guys, bring your car to the track, its fun, and cheap, and eye opening to see what it takes to get a clean good run down the track.
  20. HOW???

That's why I said "slightly more efficient" I was speaking of the vette.
