  1. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I had to look through all the other posts to find 1 G3 dyno from another member here. They have a bullitt mustang and were on 7 psi and 93. My graph is for the G2 on a regular gen3 gt. 8.5 pulley. The two runs are 91 and e54. You can see its not much but a little more torque and power down low

To me I think of it like this... if you're not going to reinforce the internals then why even bother with a blower just because it'll make more horsepower. I'll elaborate on that... from what I read on this forum before doing any upgrades a safe stock whp seems to be below 750. At this level the...

It's actually the housing and tubing that needs to be changed. It's roughly 1000 bucks to upgrade with exchanging a G2 unit. If I remember correctly.

That makes a lot of sense then.

Whenever I see a higher than rated boost number it is always at the very very end of the rpms. I don't have an analog boost guage, I use the cars built in one which is just a calculation so it could be wrong but I've found the rated psi numbers are pretty accurate below 7300 or 7200.

From what I've been told by a few tuners and have read online just running e50 you get about 80% of the knock protection that you do with e85. No question you can make more power on e85 but it wouldn't be by a large margin. I'm really interested to see what a full fuel system e85 can do with...

Timing is a little lower for security. It still made 740 on the 8.5 pulley on e54 and 680 on 91. However the ecu can advance timing if it does not see knock. So what we did was set a lower timing max and then added a cap to how much timing could be added.

Yes, the onboard widebands sense what e content is in the fuel and adjust afr accordingly
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I am tuned by a local az shop. I have a flex fuel tune for e54 and 91 in the 8.5 psi pulley.

Side note now that we are in boost weather omg rip my tires. The stock Michelin give up the ghost like immediately and never recover during a pull its actually downright dangerous to drive without TC. I am in az so these cooler temps have really woken the car up. I would love to get another dyno...
  12. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

If the g3 is comparable you may be able to hit that number. I think there's 2 cars making over 700 with pump gas and the 6.5 or 7.5 pulley. If you go e85 and let's say 1 pound of boost is conservatively an additional 20 whp you would be probably right around 900

Sounds like it could be the tune, can you take it back to the tuner or send them a log? I don't have any issues with take off but if I give it slight throttle and let the rpms slowly climb it gets hairline sensitive and can buck if I take my foot off and back on. I was told it could be the...
  14. TPS only showing 89.4% for max

After speaking with my tuner I realized my PID was throttle position SAE and the other person's was just Throttle Position. After switching it to non SAE it shows 100% now.
  15. TPS only showing 89.4% for max

Car is a 2020 GT with a ess blower, stock manifolds and stock TB. I noticed when I looked at someone elses logs for their GT that they were hitting 100% on the TPS during a WOT run and then when they let off it was showing 0% for when they werent touching the pedal. My logs show when I am not...
  16. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

It does certainly start higher then go down 1 or 2 percent.
  17. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I dont think so because if that were the case the tips would probably read higher then slowly lose percentage.
  18. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

What would the multimeter be probing when I mess with the sensor? And what values would I be looking for
  19. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

At idle it says 9.4%. I'm on vacation rn and can't check what it says when the engine is off. Does anyone know if I can do a relearn with hptuners?
