Yeah. Reverse has been like that for every car I've owned. However. the MT82 basically seems to have to be man handled to shift into 2nd. I wonder if the twin disc clutch is having issues.
Since I've stopped being delicate with it, it has responded really well.
Edit: If you google "MT82...
I don't think anyone shopping around is intentionally cherry picking data, rather they're just potentially unaware of the alternatives. MT constantly hogs GMS bawls so they are being pretty generous to even say the Camaro and Stang are in the same realm.
I couldn't justify the price...
Well autocross is made for cars like civics, so that's not surprising.
Driving a stock civic around long fast turns is a death sentence. Doing that in all the other cars you mentioned because a none-issue entirely.
Where is the 10% drive train loss number coming from? I tell you Jake, I want it to be true because it's the best possible outcome, but I don't see the heavy duty internals of the MT-82 (relative to sports compacts), the drive shaft, the torsen rear end, and heavier CV axles being easier to...
As soon as you do a tune, regardless of power output, you open the door to severe engine damage. There needs to be a fair amount of vigilance in regularly reviewing your logs. My favorite thing is just to have a max knock count reading on display at all times.
Wow I've accidentally went faster than that without even noticing. If you put coilovers on then I guess the difference was the swaybars. The non-magneride pp1 mustangs aren't floaty at all IMO.
I am interested in the following items:
700whp turbo, preferably with a vband for the turbine exit (PT67s retail for ~990 with this option)
Intercooler, something that can deal with 70lb min airflow
Front mount turbo Exhaust manifolds (kit manifolds are about $1200 but aren't "to the...
I bought my mustang simply to have something to argue about! My life was going too good before then!
If anyone buys a 3800lb car the autox's it they're going to have a bad time. I'm not even sure anything matters but tires and weight and those speeds. You could have a chassis built from...
What's you're reasoning again, the track numbers? That's all I typically care about, but it won't work for stock cars with not so ideal setups. The rest of your statement works both ways. You can't simultaneously declare SAE certification as indisputible then list ways a dyno can be defeated...
What are the 2018 mustang GTs flowing dur max power conditions? Does anyone have a log of a stock car? I don't have a logger yet but I am trying to get a grounding on what I am doing next (aside from getting something like an sctx4).
The rear end is very parasitic to turn and the internals of the MT82 aren't exactly knife edged aerospace quality parts so I don't know where the extra efficiency is coming from. 15% is good for an econobox 5 speed from what I can gather. You may have a point as I've seen this brought up...
For a turbo 5.0 setup, it seems as if the ecoboost gauge just swaps in. I'ts my understanding that this gauge gets its information from the ECU, so the value displayed is derived or does the ecu read the actual pressure from a map sensor? Would I be better off running a gauge tapped off the...
