Installed CF steering wheel.

Just finished install . Wasn’t as bad as I built it up to be. My wheel did end up having the 24 MM steering wheel bolt and not the T50 nut. Def have to be careful of all the little plastic tabs on all the trim pieces. I can see how the can break easily.

Thanks . I just picked up a 1/2 dr T50 socket so I’m ready for either. If it’s the reusable torx does anyone know what color thread locker is recommended by Ford? The replacement bolt I got had blue already applied but a non torque to yield could be different, maybe

I appreciate all the feedback . I will take the advise and put it to use. I did get a new bolt already from LMR as I read it’s a torque to yield bolt and shouldn’t really be reused. This is the wheel I chose. I didn’t get the CF pieces in the middle parts where controls are. I think the stock...

I have a new CF wheel coming this week and wanted to ask those who have removed their steering wheel what they found to be the best little tool to use to to remove the airbag.

I use it in my 21’ PP and don’t see any color change in my oil when I check it weekly.

Change out the pads. I went with the Powerstop z26. So far so good. No more squeal and wwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyy less brake dust!!! More aggressive braking as well. The initial bite is miles above the stock pads.

Only my 6 piston fronts squealed. Not sure if both sides did but the front def squealed for a second right as I applied brakes then went away as I pushed harder

Brembos? If so they squeal, change out pads to power stops and it’ll go away. Did for me

I didn’t actually stick my head in trunk to see what he was doing but I was standing there talking with him and I didn’t see him take anything apart inside the trunk. Went in there real quick with a long silver tool bar thing, maybe to push up on dent ? Who knows . I just know he didn’t tear...

Mine had 5 including my test drive. I watched them roll it off the delivery truck. I was there looking at different vehicles and saw it in on the truck with a few others and told them I’ll take it!

My dent guy said it was either someone sat something down on there but more than likely someone leaned on it. It was a straight line crease to , wasn’t expecting for it to come completely out like it did .

Mostly from the top but did go into the trunk with one type of tool for a few min. I was truly amazed it all came out. It’s smooth as can be now.

I had a crease in same spot . Had a dent removal guy come out and he got it completely out, I was amazed. Like yours mine is hard to see in pics but it was a 2 inch crease. Saw it every time I walked up to my car to get in , drove me crazy. All gone now though so happy again. Dent guy said...

Interesting , I have a carbon fiber wheel on order for my 21’ GT PP . I wonder what bolt I have. Edit: just remember I ordered a new bolt from LMR because I read the bolt is a one time use torque to yield bolt and shouldn’t be reused. Just opened package and this is what was sent .
