not sure which year range this is for but its the one from cardiag.
i looked at several times too then i saw they go 1) lb-in, 2 lb-ft, 3) lb-in
🤷‍♂️
i downloaded a gt350 tune from hptuners and opened it. Looks like their system uses a max/min and a nominal size.
I'm on different tire sizes than you all but for reference my 265/40/19 has a circumference

found these used mickey ET S/S on marketplace, they are 305/45/17. First off will they fit/ be overkill for my ecoboost with stock turbo? Second; how does the condition look? They are about $80 of gas away, so i can't really just go look at them. i would probably only use them for 2 test and...
i found some cad models online of some CAT gensets as they usually enclose the exhaust side of the turbos some how. this gap could be because on marine engines there is a surface temperature requirement they can't go over.
this style of metal shielding seems common. i actually bought a spare...
Could you pick a bunch of points off this graph and assume they are all at 100% load, probably. i dont know how close part throttle mapping would be, not that it is as important. The app i have used in the past seemed to be fairly close to what my 2.2 ecotec puts out; 140hp/145 tq. at the time...
yeah i've seen that video, but i am concerned about the turbo temps using a blanket during a 20 minute track session. concentrating more heat in the turbo would just tax the oil and coolant temps which already become marginal during a session. Another user posted this picture from the dyno...
what is your end goal? to have hp/tq show up on video overlay in racerender? Calculating those from CAN seems like it would be difficult to do from scratch. OBD apps seem to be able to do this reasonably accurately but i couldn't find any data on how they calculate it (assuming they are using...
if you have someone to help you hold the bumper while you disconnect things it's not too bad. i thought the hardest part was getting the oem charge pipes onto the intercooler (snouts?)
Just made this video today from two seasons ago, about half way into the third 20 minute session. Cvf street, stock charge pipes, PP radiator, 5w50 oil. i would guess it was in the 70's. Boost pressure was being limited due to temperatures, but no temp warnings were hit. Since then i changed...
looks like something (oil) is coming out of the exhaust on accel. turbo lifespan is probably shortened from not allowing it to cool before shutting off especially after running it hard.
looks like the tan colored plug you have is a molex mx150. i don't think they sell a cap. That said you could by the receptacle end and some cavity seals, then apply some adhesive lined heatshrink over the end the wires would come out of. That connector is IP6K7 and IP6K9K rated
anyone drive a torsen diff car in the snow? when leaving from a stop while turning the inside tire seems to "scrub" if light throttle isnt used. seems like that would be interesting in the snow
Recently bought a cvf catted downpipe and i have been exploring designing a heatshield for the downpipe that doesn't require any permanent modding, welding, or doesn't wrap the downpipe either. My main goal would be to reduce underhood temps on track by using embossed aluminum sheeting. Having...
i dont know if cutting the resonator off the stock airbox affects carb status but i cut mine off on the last 2 pages here

launching isn't the easiest thing. my ecoboost managed being faster to the 1/8th on the stock 255 pirellis
