the group is Morgans motorplex. they do a couple events a year there, i think they are the only outside group allowed. They draw out some cool cars for MN. i believe it was $70 for 6 runs.

i have a spare turbo that i'm looking at now and it seems like a difficult/risky option to try and put a pressure sensor pre-turbine in the casting due to high temp/stresses. You could have a custom spacer made to fit between the turbo and head and be thick enough to put the sensor in. That...
i was able to trickle charge my battery back to health and i used it all this season even after finding it below 7v during winter storage. i drove it once where it was probably running only off of the alternator and i didnt notice any driveability issues, only active exhaust malfunctions and...
i forgot your cooler wasn't directly infront of the rad like just about anyone with an oil cooler. i happned to stumble across something from honda about inferred oil temp that it could be taken from coolant temp and also oil pressure amongst other things. Presumably considering higher oil...
i'm looking at picking up a used mishi oil cooler but not putting it in the grille area. There is a ton of room where the drivers side exhaust runs on the GT. this cat scratcher is roughly the size of the core. along with custom brackets i would probably find a way to include a fan. Luckily this...
i also logged this parameter from cobb. Its confusing because i checked both parameters back to back with the car idling and they read 14.7 psi but this one only peaks below 25psi. even if one of these is absolute pressure and not gauge pressure things don't quite add up.
Exhaust BP – The...
i don't buy off the cuff the "turbo backpressure creates similar effect to EGR" comment. EGR controlled by the computer only at partial load reduces overall exhaust temperature. i dont see any left over hot air being left in the cylinder because of backpressure doing anything to increase the...
explanation of pressure ratios
explanation of detonation & boundary layer (0:00- 4:00ish)
i suspect the small turbo on our cars creates a lot of backpressure.
maybe this new 2.3 wont be as prone to leaking coolant into the engine. in one spot on the spec sheet it says DI, and in another spot it says sequential port fuel injection. this is worded different than how the dual fuel on the 5.0 is.
is this in the read or control state? when you get to the control state you can double click on that cell that says r_diff_pump. if you look back at my last comment there is button a slider on the bottom with 3 lines, that will allow you to change from read to control. i will be able to use...
