Anyone here ordered custom plates in Cali? I ordered them 2 months ago and DMV is unable to give me an update, they're telling me it can take up to 4 more months and also there is no way to check their status.

I got mine ceramic coated too professionally. Unfortunately though, I took it in for a wash and after that noticed some faint scratches in the finish. I think they're in the coating thought so that is a good thing. Guess I should have used new towels for each wipe.
