  1. Coyote engine swap

Wow.... that makes the swap a lot more tempting. Is the F150 5.0 the same as what's in the GT?
  2. Coyote engine swap

Where are you seeing 5.0's for under $2K? That's less than a bigger turbo!
  3. Old Habits ....

Went to install longtube headers like my 97 GT had and then remembered I only bought half an engine.
  4. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

There's no bog standard family sedan that can keep up with this car. I do not tremble in fear when I pull up next to a Malibu or a Camry. Sonata's do not leave me quaking in my boots. The performance versions of some of these sedans (Ford Fusion Sport, Chrysler 300C, Kia Stinger, Chevy SS...
  5. Carlex Interior Design

Not sure if I love it or hate it. I feel it gives the Mustang too much of a luxury look.
  6. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

3.73's are on my to do list. I'm paying the car off after I close on my new house on August 9th. The serious fun will start soon after that. Warranty be damned. :headbang:
  7. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

I'm at 6000 feet as well. Best I've done is 6.4 with my 6spd MT, stock tune, ebay intercooler, 20" foundry wheels on P Zeros, and 3.31 gears. I'm positive I could hit 6 seconds, but I'm losing too much time in the 1-2 shift, I think. Turbo's might not be as impacted as NA motors, but they...
  8. Sad Stories Of Blown Engines-Tell It Here!

Blown engine is just an excuse for a built engine.
  9. Sad Stories Of Blown Engines-Tell It Here!

Dude, we're pushing 2.3L 4 cylinder engines past 400hp. Blowing them up is just part of the game. :D
  10. Tune Alternatives

If you aren't going to change your intercooler, I would get the Ford Pro Cal tune. It's pretty tame compared to the third party tunes but provides a pretty stout bump in power under the curve. I believe it's a 50-60hp average gain across the curve up to peak power which is a 25hp gain over stock.
  11. The biggest power gain on 91 oct?

Yeah, he had a thread on it a little while back.
  12. The biggest power gain on 91 oct?

I believe 91 octane normally sees around 300whp with full bolt-ons.
  13. I have had zero problems with my 2015 EB 50th ann appearance edition

Well, part throttle has all that GT smashing torque. So..... gotta do what I gotta do.
  14. I have had zero problems with my 2015 EB 50th ann appearance edition

I'm just trying to blow the motor so I can have an excuse to buy a GT. :headbang: (Joking)
  15. I have had zero problems with my 2015 EB 50th ann appearance edition

Absolutely. Very few people are foolish enough to do THAT on a daily basis in our 300/400+ HP cars.... :D I certainly don't. ;)
  16. Focus RS exhaust

I haven't heard an RS yet, but I think my catback sounds pretty good. There's no raspiness under load at high RPM. At idle it's deep and burbly with some popping when revving. I'm still on the stock downpipe so it's a bit quieter than I would like, but I'll fix that with an aftermarket downpipe...
  17. Ford Escort Mk1 Rwd with Ecoboost Mustang engine

I was being sarcastic - my response was what you typically hear from people who just don't get it. I probably should have put a /sarcasm at the end of my post. I thought the big smiley face would suffice. I love it when people do it differently. Seems like everyone just wants to go...
