    Same lol
  2. Are long tube headers worth it ?

No way. As I said on here the other day it must be the most expensive way to gain 15hp on these cars. All other things equal a car with lighter aftermarket wheels will eat a car with headers alive.
  3. Rusty Suspension Springs

If you saw some of the rusted shit we have on the roads around here…trucks with frames broken in half towing landscaping trailers, cars with the front clip missing and the wheels pointing in different directions… hell my fiancĆ©s ford escape had the rear strut come through into the cabin on the...

Yeah they loved my car. Call them first they give real estimates over the phone
  5. MT82 vibrates in 2nd 4th and 6th gear

called the mt82 nibble. FTB shifter bracket fixed it for me but you get vibration all the time since you’re mounted right to the trans.
  6. Finally got myself a....

I did gray, make sure you use the adhesion promoter or it will not stick to anything plastic or matte. That was my issue. Sticks fine to the paint but the matte spoiler is lifting on one end
  7. Finally got myself a....

Sweet, thank you! I am not impressed with the 3M so it can’t be much worse.
  8. ‘20 Heritage GT350 recent purchase

Badass my man. Funny how everyone on this forum either cross shopped a caddy or bmw or came out of one.
  9. Rusty Suspension Springs

They are not a safety hazard at all. Not one bit. Ugly, but completely safe. mild winters are actually worse for rust btw, the salt on the roads corrodes exponentially faster above freezing. Your son has a nice car btw I’ve seen it around metro Detroit.

The guys are really cool there. It’s independently owned and I don’t think really associated with Firestone anymore but they still have all the equipment. They always have some project in the parking lot they are working on on the side.
  11. Steeda, this can’t be normal

Jack the rear wheels up and put it in third gear. That’s what worked best for me. If you installed the trans mount with the rear wheels on the ground that’s almost certainly the source of the vibration.
  12. Steeda, this can’t be normal

The shifter bushing should increase nvh about 1% when installed correctly. It still holds the shifter pretty loosely and that’s why it did not 100% fix my 2-3 lockout above 7krpm. Make sure it’s not moving when you tighten the bolts as there is some side to side play there.
  13. Any Detroit area folks on this forum?

Just a heads up that Woodward is an absolute zoo right now. Fights, Cops everywhere, chases, idiots street racing jeeps and Honda crossovers. Cops in Birmingham were issuing tickets for loitering and impounding anything parked along Woodward that looked fast a couple weeks ago. I was at the ice...

I’ve heard Firestone in Rochester is good for alignments. They mounted my tires on pp2 rims and didn’t scuff any of them.
  15. Steeda, this can’t be normal

I had that weight on mine. Tossed it out. It does help with nvh though on the stock setup.
  16. Finally got myself a....

They do? I looked but couldn’t find it, link?
  17. Why several coats of paint/primer used?

I can tell you last January (2024) when I got my car, you could have gotten a ā€˜22 vert premium with 10k miles for $36,600. I looked at that car but didn’t really want a vert.
  18. Why several coats of paint/primer used?

It is the hottest time of year for sports cars. Buy in November-January you’ll get 20% off the price.
  19. Fuel filter underhood

Yep this is exactly what I did but to run a flex fuel sensor. Check my pcmtec flex thread for other part numbers also and a pic. I looked into running a filter but decided it wasn’t worth it as someone told me the factory filter is excellent
