Made a mistake today, I thought about getting my dyno to match my baseline, turns out the corrections were off on original baseline, said the system calibration was not working back in January, but uncorrected base vs my recent uncorrected dyno I gained 1 HP and lost 4 TQ.
I dynoed when it...
Those are custom to the 18 and those companies also offer a separate 15-17 version
18+ hood and head lamps require the front bumper top and lower area under headlight to be different mold and shape than a 15-17 cover and front bumper to fender connector is now different as being a sandwich...
Looks to be more curved edges on Mach 1 corners and the Mach 1 grill is two tone with two sections, has gunmetal/satin magnetic grey surround around the gloss black section.
Won't fit, need 18+ fenders, uses sandwich connectors and need the 18+ head lamps to get it to work, plus 18+ hood.
Only thing that will probaby work is your parking lamp wiring
It is a risk cause the lower corners of the mach 1 upper have a different curve so I doubt a gt upper grill can be used.
The compatibility check can be off.
Yes but still not confirmed on several parts per levittown.
Several major parts still needed to get it to work, but it is a start and proves it is not vin blocked like 50 anniversary parts.
Also it has a factory level extended splitter that is functional and sturdy and not flimsy and works well at high speeds, a reason why steeda uses it on their high performance packages you can get.
I still have it and it is still doing fine, some small indentations have formed around my parking lamp and side skirt on one side, it is due to the instructions originally not mentioning that the bumper goes on a non pp bellypan and wheel well liner. Extra holes had to be made to get the PP...
I have a middle style on mine since I have the Steeda Q Fascia, it does have a step down area on the splitter for what would technically be the body color if it were two tone, but I kept it all black and it joins the GT/CS lower grill
They sell an aftermarket body colored one, but I think those come with pillars in body color not black.
The problem with this spoiler is it would expose the center holes for any car that had any other factory spoiler originally, since those have horizontal center holes while the GT/CS has a...
I never removed mine, so I have no idea how the inside looks. positoning holes or not? or just 100% Adhesive.
The other person that posted has aftermarket scoops not GT/CS
Also a 2018+ blank decklid was put on right? did it to save the Mach 1 decklid? the Mach 1 seems to go back to the nice 15+ decklid without side indentations, but I bet its too risky to debadge the mach 1 emblem off one?
A bit off topic, I have the Shelby / Borla Active Valve, it sounds nice and looks better than stock, and actually is quieter in quiet mode than stock.
Maybe Borla might make a Mach 1 touring exhaust that may be of similar quieter quiet mode db level to mine.
Does not work with my car, I often do quiet mode to shut down and to quiet mode. I have 24/7 quiet mode enabled.
once the car is shut off even in quiet mode the valves fully open anyway. they immediately close again at start-up.
Only on 15-17 dual systems for magnaflow are 4.5" the problem is the 18+ offerings are quads and are 4" so current offerings will look small vs a stock Mach 1 tip, the 4" does house nicely with stock 18+ cut outs, but not the Mach 1 and would be an appearance downgrade.
If someone made or if Ford had made something along the lines of this type of hood for 2018+ it may have worked ok on a Mach 1. closest is the Shelby Super Snake hood you can get, but it is a front and rear exit vent hood though, but this one looks closer to the ram air Mach 1 hoods despite...
