I remember in several grille threads that no 18+ option for those who wanted the GT/CS look at a cheaper price.
I was looking at old aftermarket bullitt grille sets and this place was also apparently selling a 18+ GT/CS style
but no idea if it is actually a 15-17 and mislabeled...
Pattern looks same? Red is stock on 55F ambient temp and Blue is FP Pack on 83F day ambient temp, same location/dyno
Maybe its my driving pattern that may have messed up the learning? short work commute. car is already 3 years old and only 10K miles.
Yes confirmed for A10 Mach 1 with Handling Package,
I got chance to walk around one at my dealership and it does indeed have a cooler system on both sides. they feed through the side bezels under the parking lamps.
Also has a 4 sided vane with rubber edge seals toward the coolers which is...
For some like me I would probably need to cause I have offset of 35 on my rears and they would be poking a lot more and my wheels according to Shelby do not clear GT350 brakes.
Shelby did sell a 15-17 fog light LED combo turn signal, which would provide a Mach 1 or GT350 the fog light function, but seems to be out of stock, I last saw that kit on CJ pony parts
Hard to compile info off the what did you do to your mustang thread though,. Yeah needs a separate thread, but his was a damaged complete take off bumper, still need to source some correct parts that complete the front end if buying from scratch.
I checked out Mach 1 in person and inspected the bumper etc. Some things to be aware of is, the side bezels with a built in giant vane on each side divert into a large radiator on each side which is absent on a regular mustang and will result in the air being thrown into the void of the lower...
I thought of doing the stripes, I was gonna delete that lower portion behind front wheel and skip the rear wheel stripes and also stop the stripes at end of the door as a curve.
Would kinda of stimulate a Shelby GT style look, those go straight from front till the door edge curve.
Not sure but when looking at 18+ install videos it shows it is hardwired into the main harness, such as this pax side lamp connector splits off the same harness as the reservoir connector.
Found out the GT350 part, definitely more complicated and much different pin
And yes looks like...
That is why I am curious about that GT350 single plug to double connector harness, might be same connector?
regular 15-17 mustangs seem to have direct wiring from the main harness split into two as far as I can tell?
Seen some in person at Galpin when getting some service done. Saw one also with the front end entirely in carbon fiber, not that appealing on fit and finish
Have yet to see the actual Mach 1 wiring harness, but the lamp they use is the older 15-17 / GT350 lamp from the parts bin and that uses two seperate connectors vs the single 18+ parking lamp one, unless they do have some convenient 18+ parking lamp merge connector? no wiring diagrams yet for...
I see how some places are offering the Mach 1 bumper parts, but one issue is the parking lamps, which use the older 15-17 style.
Can this easily be spliced together or need to take risk on converting a 18+ entire wiring harness/fusebox to a 15-17?
Example of 18+ connectors
Example of...
I looked more closely, the parking lamps is a single 6 pin connector, probably due to fog light wire also in it.
Is the parking lamps stuff all part of that giant harness you have to get that includes the fuse box? or a separate harness?
I see that you can order repair pigtails for the side...
