My Mobius is very small and hasn't skipped a beat in 3 years. The config software is great and easy to use too. The only con is it doesn't have a LCD but that's what makes it super small. I can document the best config settings if anyone needs help. Also I'd buy it direct from Mobius at...
You're forgetting about a lot of parts. The PP has a completely different front link suspension that's stronger and tighter, monotube shocks, engine turn dash, unique underbelly pan, stronger tranny tail shaft, stronger rear-end cage, and probably other things we haven't discovered yet.
Didn't you pinpoint it to the flywheel at one time? Did they replace the flywheel? Does it have a dual mass flywheel or not? Seems to be a big debate on here.
These make a lot of rattling noise in your pocket too...so I wrapped some blue painters tape around it. Looks bad but it's protected and doesn't rattle anymore. I know where the buttons are so don't care I can't see them.
Like I said before, the catback x-pipe is giving you the raspy sound. H-pipe not as raspy but still some. I think leaving the resinator and going with an axleback will give you the deepest sound.
You could leave the resinator on and do a ford racing axle back. The raspy sound is coming from the x-pipe of the catback. The h-pipe isn't as raspy. I had the ford racing touring catback and it has a nice deep tone at low rpm's. Listen to the video of low rpm's with the catback at the link...
Mine thuds like crazy too and I'm convinced it's the syncros aligning the gears, because when you shift at higher RPM's and the gears are somewhat already synced the thud is almost none existant.
The Rousch Active system interests me but I will not change my rear bumper to accommodate the quad tips. So until someone comes out with a round tip system I am considering the frpp x-pipe.
