OK, I have that. The only reason I asked about the spray gel is because someone said it gives you extra time to work...and since I've never done this I figured I need that.
It's funny how some are holding up well and some aren't. You should remove it, sand blast and paint it. It looks great and mine is holding up well. 2 1/2 cans of Krylon high heat paint and you're done! It's takes about 20 minutes to take off the exhaust.
I bought like 10 bottles of Turtle Wax Ice clear (the older version without the carnuba) for exactly this reason. It rocks and you can get it anywhere on the car with no residue, even the black plastic.
I'm going to install these stripes myself so I need your help with a list of materials/brands to use. Squeegee, Cleaner prep, Spray Gel, etc. I read somewhere spray gel is the best so please educate me!
I thought about an extender but wasn't sure if it'd work. Guess I'll give it a try.
I'm 5'10 and seat is all the way down. I've had the seat up higher and it was a little better but like the seat down so I don't hit my head every time getting in and out.
To the right of the rearview mirror via their suction cup. I'll snap a picture when I can. Here's a video from my Mobius in my 2015 GTPP in that position.
Anyone else hate how the seat belt shoulder harness digs into your neck? Even when I run it through that useless seat loop it's in a bad position for me. Wilkinda65 mention an older GT 500 had an adjustable height device...anyone know if that'll bolt on our 2015's?
I was wondering about that and think the traction these PZero tires are partially the cause. I'll put the Sumitomo tires on next and think it'll help because they won't bite near as much. Just hoping they still bite enough in the corners. I had them on my Porsche and they seemed fine.
Pony/Performance cars with stick shifts are a little different than every day cars. They make you rev a little higher before shifting in order to keep it smooth (they basically don't like it when you drive like and old lady). There's a lot of heavy duty hardware in the drive train so they're...
Because there's not one yet unfortunately, but several companies are working on it. Apparently it's a harder fix than previously thought. I asked this question 4 months ago hoping Ford would have a TSB for it. The forum community thinks Ford will not address the issue so we'll have to spend...
Can you have them look into an active exhaust as well? I'd even be happy with a simple manually operated active exhaust where I have to flip a lever on each muffler. I would love to have a quiet car during the week and loud on the weekends.
