I put the factory exhaust back on. It's very quiet compared to aftermarket, but it allows me to open it up and not attract attention. I'll be on the look out for an active exhaust system going forward. Something I can close during my daily driving and open up when I want to horse around. I'm...
Yes sold it. It is the best sounding exhaust in my opinion. For me it was just a bit loud for my daily driver. I'll be researching active exhaust systems now. Hoping someone other than Rousch makes one, and I'd even be willing to help design one. How cool would it be if you could just slide...
Yes the FRPP Touring sounds great, and I would have kept it on if it wasn't my daily driver. The low RPM tone was too deep and made me turn my base GT radio up quite a bit. Conversations with your significant other will require a lot of "what did you say"? LOL that may be a good thing...
Glad you like it. Someone on the other thread asked if it's possible the Premium has better insulation. It's possible...or maybe I was just too sensitive to it. Enjoy.
If it was making noise it wasn't done right...PERIOD. This is a common noise when they are not installed properly. Mine are quiet as a mouse. The 373's do make you shift a little more around town but I like them.
You get so much with the PP for the price. The only drawback is no auto tranny.

I noticed mine is making a rotational noise now at 750 miles. Not near as bad as in your video, but definitely there. I'll report it to the dealer when I'm there in March for the free oil change.
Cloth is fine on mine so far with 750 miles, but the latch in the middle of the driver's seat has never worked. I assume they'll have to replace the seat. I'll report it when I have my first oil change and give them my list of things.
Puts down power better than anything I've experienced. I do notice a slight tire slip when making a left turn in the morning which means it's biting nicely. I love it. No NVH that I've noticed.
Here are 2 video clips.
At low RPMs.
At red-line.
65 to 70mph it's fairly quiet. In my opinion the low RPMs are a little loud (for me). Higher RPMs are fine inside the car, but loud out the tail-pipes.
I completely agree. What might be loud for me may be perfect for other people. Like I said before, it sound is awesome and you can hear how tight the engine is when this exhaust is installed. To me it has the best tone out of all the aftermarket I've heard. Wide open throttle is one of the...
I checked my FRPP over and over again for exhaust leaks and it was sealed tight. Maybe my hearing is just too sensitive. Running through the gears at 3.5K RPMs and higher sounded great and not as loud. My issues were with the low RPMs. I could really hear it in the cabin and had to turn up...
If I was 25 years old I'd love the Touring exhaust, but I'm 50 and it was too much for me. Every time I'd take off from a light it sounded like I was trying to take off fast, and I really wasn't. The sound it puts out is AWESOME though. So crisp and tight.
I want an active exhaust system...
