I played around with dash mounting this on my other cars and the video is very shakey when mounted on the dash. It's amazing how much dashboards move with road vibrations. The glass is very solid.
Here you go. The clip on the dash is a 2-sided tape clip and peels off easily on that hard plastic, and it'll click open and closed to remove the wire if needed. When sitting in the driver's seat the camera is completely hidden behind the mirror. I can also give a configuration tutorial for...
For Mobius....I leave mine plugged in all the time and have it set to record on motion sensing. Our cigarette port stays powered for 90 minutes so it'll continue to record motion after you park it up to 90 minutes. That's a nice security option to have! When driving it'll always detect motion...
I heard it once a little louder like in your later videos. Most of the time it's this really faint mechanical rotational noise coming from the shifter boot area. Nothing that has worried me but did take notice.
I love all you get for $2500. It's a steal actually when you really start digging into all the parts they don't list on the configurator. Hoping more people DON'T like it to make my car worth more money. :)
When you factor in all the components I don't know how anyone could pass it up for...
I can say this, my GTPP has made a rotational clutch component noise that I've never heard in a car and it's done this since day one. Maybe it is the Dual Mass Flywheel, maybe not, but I do know it has made this noise since day one. (fyi - it is nowhere near as loud as in your first video...
Typically it's 60K miles on most cars. I know some of the older cars a broken timing belt could bend valves, but hope that's not the case in these never engines.
