torque the mirror to spec. I imagine the dealer would have used the spec, but seems a cup left unturned.

Ive had it before, its bad to where the mirror isnt usable which is a safety concern.

Mine didn't do this when it was new and started about two years ago.

I had a similar problem on my '15 ragtop. I found that the set screw that attaches the mirror stalk to the windshield was loose. I tightened it up and the mirror is much better. It's worth double checking it. I'm pretty sure it's a torx bit.

I just did this on my 2019 A10 PP1 with some suspension/brake mods.

I could rock the mirror post up and down by hand, which indicated the post-to-windshield interface was loose. I removed the mirror housing/cover and gently tightened the T20 torx screw a little.

Vibration much reduced but not eliminated.

Some photos. The plastic housing is much improved over the 2015-2017 cars because it no longer uses metal grip-of-death barbed clips that break the plastic tabs, and so it is much easier to remove.

This photo of the backside shows the four white plastic clips. I pulled down on the lower right corner first and then continued to gently pull until the cover popped loose.

Then I gently pryed out the small cover that makes up the two-piece housing.

With both housing parts removed from around the post, the Torx T20 screw is accessible. It is shown in the center of this photo.

Note that the screw cannot be tightened without removing the housing.
