After quite a few crappy fitting modifications and losing thousands of dollars on them I am selling my car.

Ohhhh ok. Yeah I already did the alignment dowels and the aluminum bushing reinforcements. Also have there jacking rails. Have the Ford performance toe link bearings too but never got around to installing them.

There's quite a bit more to the complete kit, which can be purchased separately if need be. You might consider looking into the rest of the kit.

I am talking with all 3 companies about how we are going to fix the issue. Who knows, maybe I will end up keeping the car and finding a solution to all 3 problems. I am starting to think that fixing these 3 issues will be quite a bit easier than all the work involved with uninstalling all the parts I have and then trying to sell them.

Not to mention the money I will lose on all of that. It may be cheaper to buy a new hood and repaint it and this time around have a body shop install it.

On the seat delete (if the manufacturer is willing to allow this), you could epoxy a piece of Kydex to the undersides of the bottom portion and then trace out the extra material along the trim panel that needs to be added. Send it back to them to remake the piece. You can also ask them to make a relief cut for the bolt head in the center.

What is it about the hood? Can it be reshaped by a body shop if you take it there on the car?

I have installed around $8000.00 worth of Anderson composite parts on a friends car. There parts are garbage as far as fitment and the gel coat or clear coat. Best advice with those parts is as soon as you receive them take them to a body shop and have them clear coated.

Yup.... clear coat problems is exactly what I had.
Within like 2 months the parts always got ghost-y white splotches all over them. Tried polishing, and other things, but the spots remained...
Fitment issues were minimal, but yea, they were there too....

I replaced my side skirts with Trufiber ones and they've held up much better...

Learn from our expensive errors folks... dont buy Anderson Composites

Thank you for this info. EMP is going to be making me a new bottom panel once they 3d scan or whatever it is the back seat. It's probably going to be a few months. They said on some cars the fit is a lot worse than other cars. Mine just so happens to be one that it does not fit well.

The hood was out of square along with just being to big. If I maxed on the adjustment to get it off the passenger fender it laid on top of the driver fender and vice versa.

Ok everyone, just a quick update on what's going on. Cervini is selling me a hood at cost. It's still costing me quite a bit with shipping and I am still out of a paint job.

However, I am going to be reordering this hood and having the new hood painted. But this time a body shop will be installing the hood.

Moving on to EMP seat delete. Reached out to them and they are making me a new bottom piece in the next few months.

As far as the tail lights are concerned, I am still waiting on them to send a return label but it looks like it has been approved for return or replacement.

Since all 3 problems have been resolved, I will be keeping the car at this point. I have had some time to think and thanks to all the advice in here I think selling the car would of been the wrong decision.

So here we go, round 2 with all new parts, and professional install this go around on the hood. Wish me luck and thanks to everyone who gave me advice on here.

I have a build thread on here if anyone is interested in the outcome of all these modifications, I will be posting the results there.

Make sure they test fit it before they paint it. That way, if there is another fitment issue, Cervinis can send a new one no charge (or take it back and give you a refund).

Good idea to think about it for a few days and give it another try. Hopefully the new hood fits like it should

To be honest nothing you did is hard to reverse, so im not sure why you're so mad and selling the car, but whatever you do/whatever platform you find i am sure you will be happy and not do the same thing all over again right?

Totally agree on the aftermarket headlights and taillights. So many stories in here of failures after a year or two. Ford makes the clear tails for US cars and sells them through Ford Performance. Good route to go for those that like the Euro look. They’re not tinted like some of the other aftermarket brands, but I honestly don’t understand tinted taillights. I want people to see my taillights so they don’t rear end me

So the harness on both lights has a grommet. The grommet was installed backwards on the harness and there is a connector on each end. So you can't just pull the grommet off and turn it around.

Second issue was the harness was too short. I am being sent a brand new set of tail lights. Hopefully this new set does not have the same issue.

I have a 3 year warranty on them. I chose these tail lights because they have a unique design in them. I really liked them, I am not a fan of the complete clear lights. If I have any more issue I will just return to the stock tail lights before going completely clear lights.
