I would think that the idea of returning the car to stock, and then taking a deep breath and just enjoying the car, would be a great idea. Don't sell until you've given the car and yourself a break from meaningless mods.

Really, the only thing your car needed was Steeda's Stop The Hop Handling enthusiast's kit, and it's perfect. All the rest isn't really necessary.

Damn, man really sorry to hear that. I feel you on the aftermarket parts. I had HUGE problems with some euro tails from AM and when I found out with a lot of research they were complete crap after two different sets were not working properly I had to do two different claims and I eventually sent the two pairs back. I ended up having to pay more for the Diode Dynamics ones that are built just like OEM and they've been great. Surprised you had some issues with those? Anyway, I modded my car quite a lot as well with OEM parts as you can see, and that's definitely the way to go. I hope everything works out for you.

My tail lights that I am having issues with are not diode dynamics. They are s550 euro brand.

I recall many years ago when I owned a 54 Mercury coupe. This was when 49 - 51 Mercurys and 55 - 59 Chevys were considered among the most desirable cars to mod. A 54 Mercury was a major "dork mobile". I spent lots of time and money trying to make it look "cool". In the end, it was like putting frosting on manure and calling it cake. I hated it. I sold it to my next door neighbor... cheap. He restored it back to stock condition. I guess it didn't look so bad after all.

That lesson taught me a lot that helped in future mods I made over the years.

Ive put quite a bit of aftermarket mods into mine and its actually kind of the reason I dont see myself selling it.

I wasted quite a bit of money on parts I regret, but they ended up becoming a lesson... I learned to be careful about carbon fiber exterior parts... especially from certain brands (Looking at you Anderson Composites) They just dont age well...
In doing research, I saw so many problems with Hoods; ultimately I decided to stay stock. That seems to be the most difficult mod to get right and keep looking good.
I wont be messing with the fenders or doors either.
Spent a lot on a CF wing, which looked good, but the legs didnt hold up well... switched to a cheaper gloss back GT500 S-wing and feel much better about it.

Ive learned that the most expensive parts arent always the best, and that when youre deciding what to buy, or install a part yourself, theres no such thing as too much research....
...and when you've made your decision, do more research; try to find a reason not to buy that part... a few cautionary tales from others have saved me a lot of trouble.

I have installed around $8000.00 worth of Anderson composite parts on a friends car. There parts are garbage as far as fitment and the gel coat or clear coat. Best advice with those parts is as soon as you receive them take them to a body shop and have them clear coated.

YES! Those are the exact ones I had issues with! They are complete CRAP, and I was so frustrated with them. I went through two sets. In my other post I explain in detail what happened.

Diode has been great though. No issues whatsoever.

My car never had an issue with wheel hop. The ford track suspension was however an awesome upgrade. And all the other mods were great too and set my car apart from the sea of other stock mustangs. I am currently talking with all 3 companies to find a solution.

My full RTR kit and oem machine one diffuser and exhaust made the car look much better than stock though. Perfect fitment on all of those too.

Oddly enough they work perfect but the harness is too short and the gaskets are on backwards. The only thing that really sucks is these are the best looking tail lights for the car. They have a unique design in them where all the others are just bland in comparison.

The only thing I'll say, and I mean no disrespect with this, the hood is on you as well. You should have test fitted it before you did anything with it, I don't care what the site says, always double check. You could've gotten a replacement for it, since the fitment was so bad. That right there would've negated a lot of this lost money.

Yes, totally agree. My diodes are the euro style. I have euro style side markers as well.

What I suggested is not about wheel hop. It's about securing the rear subframe for better handling. Plants the rear of the car, makes a huge difference. I think you already had done some of it.

Ohhhh ok. Yeah I already did the alignment dowels and the aluminum bushing reinforcements. Also have there jacking rails. Have the Ford performance toe link bearings too but never got around to installing them.

I am talking with all 3 companies about how we are going to fix the issue. Who knows, maybe I will end up keeping the car and finding a solution to all 3 problems. I am starting to think that fixing these 3 issues will be quite a bit easier than all the work involved with uninstalling all the parts I have and then trying to sell them.

Not to mention the money I will lose on all of that. It may be cheaper to buy a new hood and repaint it and this time around have a body shop install it.
