Took my car to a performance related shop today. They found the noise when another shop said they had no idea.

It’s an aftermarket bar the previous owner put on, the thing was bent and the bolt was loose. Took it off and noise is gone, worth the money taking it somewhere else to really find the noise.

Just for future reference to others who come across this. Check your bolts!

$280 of useless metal because Affirm burning a hole in somebody's pocket.

Glad you got it figured out! Whew!

Maybe go update the original and last post in the original thread so people don't keep trying to help ya find it for the next 4+ years.

But seriously, it would be more helpful for those looking at similar problems if the solution was there at the original post.

I wasnt sure myself this was for that problem but I had a feeling it was.

Glad you finally resolved that!

This is an example that supports my POV to not fix, or mod, something that isn't broken. The Ford OEM underside K-brace may not be as sexy as an aftermarket tubular one, but it gets the job done in a perfectly acceptable way and for lower cost. Not to mention less ground clearance with the aftermarket brace.

If I spend money on anything that goes underneath my car it better be a true performance gain, like springs, or a brace for which there was none before. Aesthetics doesn't matter to me, bc no one can see it from above.
