My opinion for what it's worth is this. The only reason I dislike the v6 and EcoBoost models is because there are already so many Mustang's on the road as is.

I feel like the car would be way more rare if those models did not exist. I mean for every 10 Mustang's I see on the road, maybe 2 of them are v8's. Other than that though, I think the EcoBoost can be a really cool little car.

Especially in places like Europe where gas is like $8.00 a gallon. But then again that is just my opinion and at the end of the day, my opinion doesn't matter. If your happy with the car that is all that matters.

Keep building your car if it makes you happy man because even if you had of bought a GT, people would just say why didn't you buy a Roush or a Mach or a Shelby. It's never ending with social media.
Pretty sure no one at Ford said, Let's build this Mustang and only sell 20% of what we could!
Remember, they've always had non-V8 options... just none as good as the 2.3 EB, IMHO.

Gas is now $ 10-$ 11 ( premium unleaded) a gallon in Germany.

There is absolutely zero doubt that there would be no V8 mustangs without the v6/ecoboosts, and would never have been. Unless they were specialty cars like the Ford GT and expensive.

in the past people who weren’t car people liked the look and rep of the Mustang but couldn’t afford the V8 (price, insurance) or didn’t care about performance so bought the non-V8s which sold in droves over the performance models. In that way they subsidized the development of our cars, for shared parts and for maintaining the aggressive performance reputation. Win-win.

Non V8s used to be slugs (like the 2.3 Lima and Cologne V6s) but as of 2011 ALL mustangs are pretty bad ass. In 2015 you could buy a 300hp v6 Mustang for less than a Focus ST that would rip an STs head off, not to mention GTIs, Civic Sis, and most of the fastest 60s muscle cars.

Exactly! In just 6 years, we went from a 2009 GT that had 300 HP to the 2015 model year that offered a V6 with 300 HP and the Ecoboost with 310 HP. It may not compare with the current V8s, but don't tell me it's not a performance car!

For reference, I used to drive an '87 Mustang LX with the 2.3 that put out a whopping 88 horsepower. 🤣 Pair that with an automatic transmission of the time, and that car couldn't get out of its own way!

Your car looks great! I would recommend getting a quality set of 25mm spacers. Pushes the wheels out for a nicer stance.

Thanks! My next set of tires are going to be 255/45 so they'll be wider as I have the stock tires on right now which are 235/50s. I bought the car with low mileage, and I want to get as much mileage out of them as I can. :)

How much was the car minus the add ons? If you don't mind...

You can look up current prices on a 21 Ecoboost. 🤷‍♂️ What would that tell you?
Not much. What is the actual mileage? I am not looking to put you down so please drop the snarky bs. There are a lot of factors with regard to price.

It is what you want and a beautiful car so that is all that matters. Enjoy.

Love the car and how it turned out!

I've been trying to get that darker chrome from the GT350 all over my interior and "dechrome" it as best as I can. I'm pretty sure if I put pictures of it up, people would be so triggered... One of my favorite cosmetic mods (I have very few since I'm trying to look stock as possible) are 3.7 fender badges 😂

Chrome should be banned on interiors. I was never a fan of chrome unless exterior. My current ride has some chrome and it will be getting a satin finish when I find the scotchbrite pad.

Only thing I'm trying to still find a solution for is the horn cover. I don't want the snake from the GT350... 😅

I think you need a Sho N' Sto, Gorilla locking lugs, and a like new Ford car cover. I happen to know someone who is selling those exact items.

;^)
