So I am in the market for an aftermarket intercooler and had 2 ideas...Wanted to see if anybody has any thoughts on this.

1st idea was instead of upgrading the intercooler, buying a 2nd stock intercooler and adding it to the original stock intercooler. Theory being, I double the time the liquid spends in the intercoolers and increase the surface area by 2. Any down sides to this?

2nd idea is buying an upgraded radiator. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but the intercooler receives coolant from the radiator, so if I cool the liquid more effectively in the radiator, then the stock intercooler might be sufficient with the lower temp fluids?

Any and all input is appreciated.

1. There is no coolant in these intercoolers. They are air to air, not air to water.

2. Adding a second intercooler will be a restriction on airflow. Just replace your existing one with a larger, better flowing one.

Just get a Garrett it's perfectly made and matched to their Turbo with no change in driving characteristics I forget it's there even in hot weather.

I recommend the CVF street intercooler, cheap and works well

I've been leaning to the CVF, but I will check out the other recommendations!
