You made those? Nice work. Where did you source the stainless steel tubing?
I did :like:

I’m UK based so probably not relevant, but they came from a metal supplier that I initially found on eBay.

Steeda (and BMR) stuff is expensive over here but if I recall correctly, I made those slightly cheaper than Steeda (or BMR) U.K. pricing, including all the bungs / dust covers, stainless rivits, and including the drill, hole cutters and arbor I needed for the holes.

They sit on laser cut stainless pads so they don’t trap and hold water between them and the frame.

Although stainless, I also put water drains in the lower edge of each rail.

Was there any rust transfer to the underbody?
Not really, just the rust that flaked off the rails. It’s otherwise pretty clean. If I can get the other rusty rail off, I’ll try to remember to take some pics before I put the new rail on

Anything that goes under the car should be made of stainless steel, like headers are. Aluminum is not a solution to salty conditions. It won't last as long as the steel did. Make them yourself.
I have neither the time nor the skills to do it myself. Will take my chances with the ZL1 aluminum ones. They claim no rust (aluminum doesn’t rust anyway). Will they corrode? Maybe, we’ll see how good their coating is.

Aluminum and steel don't play well with each other. You'll get galvanic corrosion.

Nice.

Is that an Ecoboost Pony Package panel or emblem? If so, source and cost?
Yes the Pony Package decklid, over time it did get the usual micro scratches and due to not being cheap replacement, I was able to find a PPF shop that actually had the xpel outline template for the pony package decklid and they also did paint correction then applied the xpel ppf sheet on it and it looks so much better with scratches pretty much removed and has been holding up well 3+ years.

I got it from Levittown 5+ years ago. its a bit more now but still available. I chose it to compliment my GT/CS tribar pony grill in front and maintain a modern look vs the alternative HIPO ecoboost panel which is same but on a faux fuel tank door

I finally replaced my black PP1 wheels with Apex SM-10 wheels (powder coated gold), installed Girodisc rotors, put in some G-Loc brake pads in and flushed the brake fluid with Endless using my new pressure bleeder.
I have a 3mm spacer on front wheels and I think the wheels sit nicely.

My son and I have a HPDE in May I’m getting ready for.

The weight reduction really helps the car move out. More significant than I expected. No numbers to report but the improvement isn’t subtle.

Spent two hours pulling off the old clear film.

Back from the body shop. Gouge area filled and sanded smooth. They chose a light color of filler just in case the new blue stripe has any transparency to it at all. (We checked - it doesn't.)

Then I cut and peeled some strips on either side of the vent holes and spray painted it gloss black there. That is so that the orange color won't show through the vent slits.

Once I pull the clear film completely off, there won't be any overspray. Then it's replace the stripes and take it to the clear film shop.

Nice wheels! What size wheels and tires did you go with? I’ve been thinking about wheels for my PP1.

New alternator was “damaged in shipping” 10 minutes from my house… so, there goes the idea of having the car back up and running this weekend.
