  1. S650 Performance Rear Brake on S550?

I see EBay has a 2023 rear suspension with Brembo package. From the pics, it looks like the suspension is a little different from s550.
  2. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

@HooserDaddy unfortunately it is not plug n play. Main problem is the electrical connection is different (see first pic). Additionally the EU version uses the smaller 921 bulb so the bulb sockets are also smaller and will not fit interchange (see pic #2). My plan is to take the two...
  3. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I got the EU reversing/fog lamp to make a 4th brake light. Thanks to @Vagabund for the part number.
  4. Help with aerodynamics

The Verus Engineering flat bottom stuff should fit your Ecoboost also. Evidently the GT350 comes standard with these mounting holes, but my GT also had these holes. I’ve seen a YouTube install video where the holes had to be drilled on a standard GT. So just depends on your car I guess...
  5. Help with aerodynamics

Verus Engineering has aerodynamic items for the Mustang. And they have a GT350 they track test their products on. I have their flat bottom system (that is for an GT350 but fits an GT with a little effort) and their rear diffuser. I like both pieces.
  6. The more I see the S650s, the more I know I've had my last Mustang for the foreseeable future

I stopped and looked over a S650 also. It’s nice to see the vent in the hood looks much more functional. I like that rear Brembo calipers are now available. Perhaps there will eventually be instructions on fitting them to a S550. 🤞 This model had the larger, one piece screen on the...
  7. Lets see your racelouvers

I did not. However if you look from side, they are approximately in line with where they suggest to put the center vent. Since Race Louvers has done some wind tunnel testing, I trusted their recommendations.
  8. That Stangmode guy ran an S650 A10 in the 1/4 mile - either car is slow or he cant drive

Perhaps StangMode guy was granny shifting and not double clutching like he should have. Ha ha. I haven’t seen in this thread where he has posted to respond or to comment. Seems like he would want to discuss with fellow enthusiasts. I don’t see any threads/posts from him...
  9. Lift points?

If you are concerned about the jacking rails rusting, beware of the Steeda. Their paint/powder coat process does not keep them from rusting. They will not warranty their rusty jacking rails.
  10. Question for Verus flat bottom kit owners

O With the weather improving I hope to get KB jacking rails and flat bottom kit on soon. Definitely will get some pics and feedback. I am glad to be getting the Steeda rails off as well, mine are rusted also. Since I have seen how the Steeda rails hold up, the Lifetime Warranty is...
  11. Question for Verus flat bottom kit owners

So you are thinking of mounting the panel so it sandwiches the rail between the panel and the chassis and then just jacking on the panel?———yes, I hope it works out like that. If the panel rattles or vibrates against the rail, I may put small amount of silicon between them to stop. I...
  12. Question for Verus flat bottom kit owners

I have the Verus flat bottom kit, waiting for warmer weather for the installation. I also got the Kenny Brown jacking rails because it looks like they will work better with the flat bottom kit than the Steeda rails I already have on. The KB are trapezoidal so the bottom surface of the...
  13. What is the Fastest Speed You Have Reached, and for How Long?

A friend has a lightly modded 2013 Mustang GT500, and it’s a beast. First time he gave me a ride, he took it to 150. Very stable and composed ride. Of course it got up to speed very quickly. He held it at 150 for a second, just to say we had been there. Fastest car I have ever been in.
