Anyone drive in sport or track mode as daily driver? Is it safe for the car?

I also keep it in track mode most of the time. I don't like the overly sensitive pedal of Sport mode and I don't like how often the 10 speed flares shifts in normal mode.

That doesn't wear the engine or transmission over time? Do you worry about traction control being off in track? My last two mustangs and camaro ss i always kept traction control off unless it was raining. Seems traction control bogs the car down as well.

I don't feel that track mode is going to hurt your car over time. Yes, it is slightly more aggressive tune, but I wouldn't be concerned about it. I would bet a aftermarket tune would be more a concern, and how many people drive on aftermarket tunes for years? Of course, in track mode you may be more likely to beat on the car some, so I guess that may wearing the engine over time, but has nothing to do with it being in track, more to do with how you are driving. I am in track mode most of the time around town, even if I jump of the highway to get across town. Long drive on the highway for an out of town trip, I put it in either normal or sport, just because I don't want to listen to the exhaust. I also have a manual, so transmission isn't a concern for me either.

If track mode would hurt your car, pretty sure the lawyers at Ford would have some type of language stating track mode shouldn't be used all the time, then they can get out of warranty claims.

As far as traction control, I turn mine off all the time, hold over from my old 2003 Cobra. Last thing I want to do is pull out into traffic in a hurry and get wheel slip, then the engine cuts, and I have to take an extra second before I get back on it while a car is coming at me. Besides, my traction control is my right foot...

I don't have the MyMode feature, so I switch on Sport mode every start up. I use track mode occasionally when I want to hear more exhaust. I know you can change the exhaust through the menu, but just hitting Track on the toggle is easier. I've gotten use to the throttle feel in Sport mode and as a result Normal mode doesn't feel "right".

I use track mode almost all the time. It's a very stiff suspension and tight steering. I don't need to worry about shift points because it's a stick stift. It's a 2016 GT-350. It's turns off traction control and seems to mostly tune the steering and suspension,
plus open up the exhaust for performance.

I routinely drive in Sport mode. To me, it feels like a torque tune.

Track mode is very linear with great throttle response, but it turns off the "nannies". Dry roads and light traffic-only for me.
Track mode do not turn it off, just the level of intervention is changed

The only time I've used traction control in my cars is when it's raining or just rained. Otherwise I always switched it off in my s197, 2012 GT and my 2016 Camaro SS. It seems traction control ate into my gas a but and the car feels a bit more held back. In the rain I always use traction control.

That's how those old muscle cars were. I can only imagine what a 428 Cobra Jet or a Chevelle 454 was like! My dad's GTO he told me it was VERY touchy like an egg shell or else it would fishtail. My mom didn't know how to drive it and was always peeling out at stop signs and got tickets.

I did track mode vs sport mode and I think in track mode the throttle is more responsive. Sport mode is aggressive, but it's like it wants to take time downshifting, just seems odd. Track mode seems more consistent. Again, I worry about using track mode most of the time that it's more wear on the power train.

Driving in Sport mode will not harm the car…

Driving in Track Mode is not recommended due to shift points and excessive strain on the engine due to the tune dynamics.
Tune is completely unaffected by the modes - throttle mapping changes in the earlier cars that it was very much non-linear, in newer ones is more like Normal in the old ones.

In Magride cars, suspension calibration obviously changes but there is absolutely zero reason to not use track mode 100% of the time.
Stability control is still on, just dialed down.

I have the A10 in my 23 mach 1 and it is tuned for E85 by Wengerd. His A10 tuning is so good, that I love the way it shifts in sport+ so that is my daily setting.

Do you drive with traction control on or off most of the time?

I just drive in sport+, what ever it does to the traction control is anybodys guess. So no I don't touch traction control, I just leave it alone.
