That would be a fairly straight forward repair, the down side would be sourcing all the parts on the secondary market. That’s the major downside to buying a project like being a front end impact. That roof was easily repairable in the right hands. Cool project, wonder what the purchase price was, I may have missed that.

Anybody know if it's easier to finance and insure salvage title vehicles these days?

Seems like a lot of people are bidding on these salvage title vehicles.

Might be a good idea for a track car since i wouldn't feel guilty of hacking a clean title one.

I was looking at his project. This was a big one. I would love to have the skill and motivation to do it. He did a car for his sister. There is a way to have the title changed, it can be insured. Throw it into google.
I am jealous of the skill. Great job on the Corvette. I am sure as he grows he will be doing more cars for himself and resale.

I wathced this one and it is pretty good. He references "LeeC Parts" as his inspiration. LeeC Parts is a local to me scrapper who does a buttload of re-builds if you guys like this kinda stuff. He has a huge parts place too, I have bought stuff from him here in Maryland and he sells a ton on Ebay in addition to his website.

Lee went to high school with a guy I know. By most accounts he's a hell of a nice guy. I have never met him, but I have bought several parts from him over the years and they have always been as described. They do a great job of pointing out any and all flaws.

He posts on this forum quite frequently. He is an engineer and has a great skill set as well as a fantastic attention to detail. There are a lot of talented people who post here that push this hobby forward.

The only YouTuber I’ve ever followed all the way through. Watched every one of his videos on that build so far. Seems like a really good guy who simply enjoys the process and the challenge.
