I did mostly steeda in the rear including the springs and have regretted it. I did the springs first and it made the magnaride feel a little sharper. The other parts I put on a year later (recently).
ride is to stiff? Do you have magnaride

I have a 23 Mach 1 with the handling pack. Thinking about going with the stop the hop kit, dual rates and sway bars for a bit more confidence in the corners and a little better stance. Anyone find that modding the suspension made the car feel a little to track oriented? I don’t track the car it’s just a fun car that I rip canyons with and go to cars and coffee. It is boosted
the dual rates are really good were good most of the time with the only drawbacks being related (imo) to not having magnaride so I think them paired with the active suspension is probably perfect.

cup 2s are long gone. On a fresh set of 4s tires. Your rec is basically what I have in the cart. Question is which springs and which stop the hop kit
Which kit is completely up to you and how you plan on using the car. I track my Mach 1, so I bought and installed the handling ultimate kit. That was a no-brainer for me.

If you are set on the Steeda kit, and have questions, you really should contact Steeda. They are a great source of information and will guide you to the right kit.

STH, Mag Duals, and Sway bars are great and popular option!
If you need help placing and order or have some more question, I can be reached at EXT 2170 and [email protected]!

They were fine without the controller. It's just another level basically.
Agreed, the Steeda 555 40-1016-101 Mustang MagneRide Controller (16-23) is really for those that want to better their time on track. The Dual Rates are track inspired, but still the best performance option for MagneRide Cars on and off track

No regrets. The only thing I have NOT changed is the Magneride controller. I feel the HP calibration does a good enough job managing the dual rates and competition sway bars. I have also utilized AAD vertical links and toe arms (i prefer the adjustment technique) as well as SPL front control upper and lower arms. My primary focus is CAM-C however the changes did make noticeable improvements on lap times at my local track over the stock HP package - I've ran Cup 2's on both setups. This - Combined with lighter forged wheels completely transformed the car driving characteristics. I saved all of the factory FORD parts "just in case". Don't forget to grab a bump steer kit as the dual rates will lower the car a small amount.

Related but not the same, Recently, I changed my Mach 1 base wheels to the HP set. It’s super grippier and I can definitely feel the difference when turning. However, it feels a lot “heavier” or “luggier” if that makes sense. it’s like trading a bit of nimble and playfulness for more grip. I expected that I guess, but I was surprised at the amount.

Does anyone have laptimes before/after modifying the stock HP suspension?
Yes, I have track times before and after Steeda sway bars, subframe reinforcements, subframe alignment pucks, and BMR Handling liner springs (250 in/lb Front, 980 in/lb Rear) with Magnaride at ORC - LVMS 2.4 mi 13 corners, 2.03.035 before, 2.02.998 after. Nevertheless, the car felt more predictable and stable after the Steeda and BMR spring upgrade. As I learn the car's new handling my times will improve. Also, running in SCCA Time Attack S2 Class with older DOT date Falken 660's that had quite a few heat cycles. Square profile Apex 19x11 ET52 with 305/30-19 Falkens. I am confident the difference would have been greater if on my Goodyear 3R setup for NASA.

HP car and a Cruiser/back road carver is my primary usage

I did the following:

Steeda:
2 point brace
jacking rails
IRS Subframe supports
IRS subframe bushing support
IRS Subframe alignment
Vertical Links
Adjustable Rear Toe Links
Bumpsteer kit
Diff Bushings
Competition Sway Bars
Camber Plates
Adjustable Camber Arms
Sport Progressive Springs

I like everything that's been done BUT my two not so positive takeaways are:

-I did find the dual rates to be a bit much to my personal taste. It's hard to describe and there are others on the forum that reported that they just seem "busy" like they are hunting for the rates. Not bouncy but just odd performance to my personal taste. When you give the car the business they were amazing but i found the drive to/from the backroad to not be to my liking.

-I do feel that since everything is upgraded I need to adjust the drive modes depending on what I am doing more. Normal mode for hwy and track for the more aggressive driving. That could just be a ME thing but prior to upgrading I could kinda stay in sport/track all day and not be annoyed or notice rougher experiences.

Regardless I am very happy with the car and performs much better than stock. I am debating doing bearings for the front and back. Hope that helps.

on our cars it is .5 all around as steeda uses gt350 specs for us.

I personally found the sport springs to be closer in behavior to the stock springs which are not progressive but still were pretty close.

I am a bit biased I just might have a lower tolerance to "race car stuff" then some. Despite all the mods done i just found the dual rates were a bit too much for me. Everything else i had no issues with and once i went with sports i had the balance i was looking for. You will find people here love and hate both springs so depending on your experience with how hardcore you want to be it may not matter. I wish i was more help as sometimes the only way to know is to have a friend who installed them which may not be doable. )=

For my car I just have those two add-ons and they made a huge difference for just a street-able daily driver. I also have the Steeda Mustang Ultralite 2-Point G-Trac Brace.
