ESS G3X 60-130 seems slow compared to everyone else's with same/similar mods.

So I just got the ESS G3X installed on my 2019 10r80. Ive been researching to see what other peoples 60-130s were like because i noticed mine was a little higher than what i was expecting. Im on a 120mm pulley on 93 consistently getting medium to high 7s compared to other people where I've seen 125mm pulleys run high 5s at full weight. I noticed the acceleration was also being a bit funny once it got past 100. For example it would have a slow ish 100-130 then speed up pretty fast from 130-150. Does 7 seconds sound right for the mods i have without traction issues?
Same thing happened with me, I changed tuner and now breaking into the 5’s on the 120 and 93. I was also Lund tuned at the time.

I went to a local shop and they r saying the stock fuel system just couldn't support the g3x on 93. The guy that did the kit for me kinda screwed me over with a lot of stuff so now i got a custom fore innovations on the way with LTHs

not to be pedantic, but are you sure? Have you logged the runs and checked it's not running out of fuel during the pull, but not necessarily something you can feel in the butt-o-meter?

Reviving this thread.

OP, did you ever resolved the issue?
Did going fuel system solve your problem?

So much bad info from shitty shops or people it sounds like lol. Also depending on DA etc times are soo much different.. like it was said very early in this thread a 6.5-7.00 is a normal and good time if your a basic 120mm/93 tune car with stock headers in 2500+ DA.. the guys posting 5’s or low 6’s with that setup 99% of the time have catless headers, drag packs, and are at most in 500-700DA. That is a huge difference in air pressure and humidity. Hopefully your car fuel pressure wise is fixed though and you’re enjoying your car. 👍🏻

That saying is retarded, it's literally made up by shops to upsell you
As someone whos been around the car game for decades, I think buy once cry once is a great way to go. My 03 Cobra i went to a ported blower and tune, Then whipple 2.3 and tune, Then whipple 2.9 and tune. And the end of it all i sure wished I just made the bigger purchase first and then was done with it. I went G3X and G4IC as well even though im running only a 100mm pulley on E85. I got my kid before the G3R was an option, if it was I would have gotten the G3R. Hopefully I never have to rebuild my motor, but if I do I will defintiely turn it up.
