I was hoping someone with the Dual Rate springs would be able to post.

I'm at 26" in the front and 27 1/4" in the rear on steeda progressive sport springs on my HP Mach 1. They say a 1" drop but that is for everything but the Mach 1's. They barely dropped me 1/4" - barely.

Yeah that 1" drop they claim is actually closer to .7" on non HP M1s. Makes sense it's only about a 1/4 for the HP cars. Thanks! 👍🏻

Steeda Dual Rate springs.
Front tires are .4" smaller than stock (lowers car just a little less than 1/4")(275/35-19)
Rear are .12" smaller than stock. (lowers car less than 1/10")(305/35-19)

Front fender lip to ground = 27 1/4"
Rear fender lip to ground = 28"

Alignment is done, but bushings have not been reset. Yet. That may allow a tiny bit of additional drop.

Hmmm... If you are on Sport springs and HP wheels and tires, then we have the same set up. But yours is almost an inch lower than mine...you sure your measurements are right? Something must be off. 🤔

That's why I asked people to include their tire/wheel size when posting. Also, Mach 1s dont come with factory 20s. Thats a GT thing.👍🏻

Bingo! A lot of people forget to reset bushings or remove bushing bind when changing ride height.

Can you explain this further? I've not heard this.

Its referred to as "clocking the bushings". You can do a search in the Road course, autocross, HPDE thread and I'm sure something will come up.

Essentially it means that you'll want to leave suspension fasteners loose until you lower the car back to ride height (wheels on the ground), then torque to spec. Otherwise there will or could be bind in the bushing if you torque before setting the car back on its wheels. This could lead to ill handling characteristics if running track days.

I have 1 lift and 4 toys that share that lift, so sometimes I have to work the list. I'll get to it.

I have the tires set at 32 psi which may make a difference. My tires are 305/30-19 front, and 315/30-19 rear. But my measurements are on.

Yeah theres no way you could be at 26" upfront man. Your tire hight alone is taller than 26". You would be dragging your car on the ground and rubbing your tires like crazy at that hight. Are you measuring from the ground to the top of the Wheel well?

I'm taking my measurements from the ground to the fender arc (the plastic). The tire is close to the fender but you have to remember when the suspension compresses the tires cambers in so no rub happens.
