I worded it wrong, I watched a video and it showed him applying grease to the "edge" of the pads, where they slide in and out. that's what I meant, I will go to auto zone and buy some moly.

Which side does the brake pad with the silver pin hanging off go? interior and exterior of caliper.

No idea on that one, on other cars the pin usually goes on the outboard pad, but I haven’t done them on my 17 yet so I’m not 100% sure.

Alright, moment of truth. There is a faint run on one caliper on the very bottom of one, but it isn't bad. Honestly, not even mad how they turned out, and its on the passenger side, and its indented in not flush with surface so I doubt it would ever even be noticed.

How do they look guys? They are solid dry. the liquid in the little vial is still runny, I had the lid on it. there was a little spec or two on the tiny calipers between a crack that was silver so I just used a pencil tip and popped the dots of silver and blued them.

Damnit lmao I set one caliper on a rag this morning on bottom to place pads and left it there

came back and it had indented into it. I have still wet paint so I just put a light coating on the surface and it seemed to have coated it evenly like it never happened.

gusss it’s still soft that’s for sure. Not touching these for a couple days. Just going to leave these here

I know the instructions said it’s not useable after so many hours but I don’t believe Itl be a problem, completely wet and laid down smoothly and drying now. It was on the lip that curves towards car on bottom. Will never know it was even touched up

It was the same face as where the run was, Atleast it wasn’t a perfect face it happened too on side note

but can’t even tell a difference now. The fresh paint ends at the seam of the two faces

How long does epoxy take to fully harden? Longest time?

Saw this a bit late. We have a 2019 Velocity Blue GT and went with brush-on Duplicolor on the rear calipers only, left the black Brimbo up front alone. The paint took a bit over 24 hours to cure, we're in Texas and this was done in the summer, the decal is a small running pony logo that can be found on Amazon - worked out well! (Didn't want to disguise and try to fool anyone with Brimbo decals on painted factory calipers!) The grabber you found for your calipers seems well matched, great job! We wanted to share this with you, for ideas on decals, in case you were looking. Cheers!

I have them in garage now cured 48 hours in my house. it turned out nice, the microfiber imprints all went away with that new coat.

it says 3 coats, So since I did like 5-7 lmao. Do you think because of those extra layers itl fully cure just fine? I mean I’m not gonna go and try and cause an imprint. They are sitting for 2 weeks til install. View attachment 416864

After 2 weeks they will have fully cured for sure and this is a good way to ensure the paint doesn't get damaged when you re-install them.
If you want to speed up the curing process, put them in the sun or near a heat source.
They look really good!

I tried my best to center the decals, and I failed lol. Oh well, I’m out of decals I can always fix it in future, only 7 bucks for them.

heres how they turned out.
