I am going to keep this stock. I put a Borla Atak on my 2012 GT500 and the thing sounded awesome. Everything I have heard about these cars though is the exhaust is awesome. I had my hopes up for this thing coming in soon, but the DELAY under in transit has me wondering the WTF?
For sure, but at least its now delivery thats the issue...:)

If you only changed the exhaust on your 500, you may be able to not mod it, but I can tell you its tough! I like to personalize it a little bit myself.

You REALLY do need the jaeger bros front mud flaps (or equivalent). These tires vaccuum up every little pebble, then throw them against the car and you can hear them hitting LOUDLY. It was like nails on a chalkboard to me because I just knew each rock was chipping something..lol. It was my first mod, and took me two trips driving this thing to purchase them.

This exhaust is plenty loud in "Sport" mode... a lot louder than I thought it was going to be and louder than I recall when I test drove drove a '17.

Watching you having to wait reminds me of a squirrel that was invading my bird feeder. The thing kept eating the bird food so I thought I would teach him a lesson and pop him in the ass with a BB-Gun. He moved while I shot and the BB hit him in the head. The poor thing flopped on the ground running in circles while on his side... like Curly used to do! I felt bad for the thing since I didn't want to actually injure him permanently, but he was in bad shape and I had to put him out of his misery. I went and got a shovel and ***WACK***. We all hope your "Curly" stage is not like the squirrels "Curly" stage, and that it's only a flesh wound.

Everybody here has been pulling for you and Bill to post photos of your car at home... you now more so than Bill since he actually knows where his is physically located and that it is a real 3-dimensional object! Your years of police training must be the only reason that you have NOT gone Postal!

Everyone who has been following all of the "waiting" threads for our 2019's is routing for you Mark...!!!!!!

Dave,

As I read this before going into a meeting, I couldn't help but to bust out laughing. I have been called many things in 25 years as a cop, I have been told I look like some people, but never have I been compared to a squirrel. Lol. I am wondering what this "delay" can possibly be. My luck a rail car fell off the track or something. You can't make this up. This forum and the people on it have made the difference for me. There is no way I would have waited this long without all of the people on here encouraging me to keep on task. My deadline to the dealer is rapidly approaching and now that it is transit, I am kinda stuck.

Get the rock guards for this car. It is a very very dirty car. I just did my sundown evening drive and the rear is dirty, the skirts are dirty and the garage floor mats need a daily sweep from pebbles, and everything this car sucks up on the way.

Oh my. I re-read this and it sounds like porn.

I can now testify - TRUTH!
As a guy who has Borla'd my V8 suv's in the past this (stock) is more than enough for my ears.

Took home my GT350 late yesterday. The ordering dealer, nice guys but befuddled on doing out of state dealer to dealer transfers, got a lot of paperwork wrong. So my new car had to be titled in MA as "used" with 6 miles on it ....and because of that I currently have a emissions that had to be performed, is stickered as failed, and needs to be redone....and the car had to be driven with dealer plates to sync up the out of state titled higher false miles with odometer actual that we drove up (at least I did all the driving - nice twisty back-roads with my local dealer GM) ......and I will probably have to get help with carfax where any inquiry may look like a mess until we make a case for it only having one owner ever (me).....but other than that......and forever delayed & late....just peachy. LOL ouch......but I got it....well except that right now its at the paint correction, film, and opticoat shop. Picture of it is it unwashed - just rinsed from delivery when I dropped it off there. Wanted to post more but have also been feeling a but under the weather but will sync up with y'all soon.....Mark - you get a direct call however - see if your tracking has improved.
Can't wait till this weekend and some more break in miles (i'm at 45 miles and keeping her 4K rpm max until I triple that).

Happy for you Mr. Bill! The car looks great even with just a rinse. I have lost hope for the Veterans Show on 9/12. I thought when it was in Order Processing it sucked. This, is horrible. I thought for sure once it hit In Transit, I would have it by the show. I have to stop looking everyday. I just have to adopt the philosophy of when it gets here, it gets here. I just hope I am not shoveling snow to get it in the garage. The entire endeavor from the start has been filled with smoke and mirrors and a cloak of secrecy as to what, where or how things happened. On a scale from 1-10 this order process has been a -5. Like I said in a previous post, the only positive that has come out of this was this forum. Many new friends, laughs and great info has come out of this venue.

Mr Bill
So glad you finally got it. Have to agree with trafficman337 as it looks great with just a rinse. I agree with you about the exhaust sound too.
Now the fun begins. Enjoy and best of luck with your new toy.

Update - my Orange Fury arrived unscathed after a 3 month hiatus in the transfer lot in Twin Oaks.

Can’t be happier with the condition. In the end I believe my sales manager did everything he could.
Beautiful! Congratulations! It's great to see the last few people get their cars after months of waiting! Now, enjoy it!

At this point, if you're still waiting for your 2019 GT350, you should cancel your order and order a 2020 GT350 or search for a dealership with an in stock 2019 GT350. You'll get massive discounts that wasn't available at the time of ordering your 2019 GT350.

Thanks, Jeff. When you say massive discounts, how much do you think I can get off an in stock 2019?
