Yep.However, why would it count down based on time and not mileage? I mean, is the oil breaking down or something? I would think it would take a lot longer for full synthetic oil to start breaking down but I could be wrong.
When a car sits, oil degrades. I think it's condensation related, but I'm not sure. It does seem that DDers get waaaay more miles out of their OLM reading than those that let their car sit. Cars run often are happier mechanically.
I DD my car, and get at least 8K miles before it gets to around 15%
