The only two recalls I know of are probably the ones you are referring to. They are not Mustang specific. Copy and pasted below from NHTSA.

Manufacture: Ford Motor Company
Summary:
Ford Motor Company Is Recalling Certain 2018 Ford Mustang Vehicles Equipped With An Automatic Transmission And A 12.4" Digital Instrument Cluster. If The Ignition Is Turned Off When The Transmission Is Not In Park, The Instrument Cluster May Not Illuminate The Prndl Gear Position Display And The Operator May Not Receive The "key In Ignition" Chime When The Driver's Door Is Opened. As Such, These Vehicles Fails To Comply With The Requirements Of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) Number 102, "transmission Shift Lever Sequence/starter Interlock/transmission Braking Effect," And Number 114, "theft Protection."
Consequence:
Without A Visual Or Audible Warning To The Driver That The Vehicle Is In Park, The Vehicle May Roll Away After It Has Been Exited If The Parking Brake Has Not Been Applied, Increasing The Risk Of Injury Or A Crash.
Remedy:
Ford Will Notify Owners, And Dealers Will Update The Instrument Cluster Software, As Necessary, Free Of Charge. The Recall Is Expected To Begin February 5, 2018. Owners May Contact Ford Customer Service At 1-866-436-7332. Ford's Number For This Recall Is 17c21.

Bump - anyone with access to Ford TSB, SSM or GSB’s - can you see if there’s anything recent put out for the S550 10R80?

I have only found these:

SSM 47361 – 2018 Mustang – 10R80 – No Upshift Past Second Gear Fails To Achieve Third Gear Ratio – Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0757 And P2701

Some 2018 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 10R80 transmission may exhibit a concern of no upshift past second gear or not achieving third gear ratio with DTCs P0757 and P2701.

This concern may be caused by a damaged one-way clutch.

To resolve this condition, replace the complete front support assembly (7A130) which includes the one-way clutch as well as any other parts that are found to be damaged.

SSM 47093 – 2017-2018 F-150/Raptor, 2018 Expedition/Navigator/Mustang – 10R80 – New Transmission Fluid MERCON ULV XT-12-QULV

2017-2018 F-150/Raptor and 2018 Expedition/Navigator/Mustang vehicles equipped with a 10R80 automatic transmission require a new automatic transmission fluid, MERCON® Ultra Low Viscosity (ULV).

It is important to positively identify the transmission and service with the correct fluid.

Use only Motorcraft MERCON® ULV Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-12-QULV (WSS-M2C949-A) or equivalent when servicing a 10R80 automatic transmission.

Using improper transmission fluid may result in internal transmissiondamage.

For any further questions regarding the 10R80 transmission or fluid specification for 2017-2018 F-150 or 2018 Expedition/Mustang/NavigatorRefer to WSM Section 307-01 – Specifications.

Here’s the newest for 10R80:

10R80 – Whine Noise – 2017-2019 Ford & Lincoln

SSM 47515 – 2017-2018 F-150, 2018 Expedition/Navigator, 2018-2019 Mustang – 10R80 – Whine Noise

Some 2017-2018 F-150, 2018 Expedition/Navigator, 2018-2019 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 10R80 transmission may exhibit a whine noise.

This may occur at idle and while driving coming from the bell housing and front pan area of the transmission.

The whine noise may become louder when at operating temperature and increases with higher engine RPM in the Park position.

A small amount of whine noise is considered to be characteristic of the 10R80 transmission due to the offset gear drivetrain in the front support and has no effect on durability.

My '18 GT Premium Vert A10 just received this diagnosis from my dealer's service department last week. Same behavior and same DTC's as the SSM mentions. In my case, I could achieve 6th through 10th with some lucky work using the paddles and going back and forth on the shifter from Drive to Sport. Basically, 3rd through 5th was trashed. Supposed to be fixed in a few days. We shall see, I guess...

Well, SSM 47361 fixed my A10. Works better than new now. My service department didn't even mind the mods. They just asked me to reinstall the stock airbox and stock tune, since they were going to baseline it anyway. The service tech said that the headers actually saved him a lot of time. Took 2 weeks, but that was mostly because they were backed up on other trans repairs.

Nice, another noise that 'may' happen and is declared a 'characteristic' that 'will not affect durability' and is 'normal'. All this retrospective explanation in SSMs from Ford about things their cars do that enough owners clearly aren't happy with...it's probably giving some folks a 'tick' ... (sorry)

I have only found these:
Just FYI I tried to go to my local Ford dealer about the Mercon transmission fluid and not only did it not appear in their TSB database, they had to search for it in some special system to even find a record of it. They also told me for something like that, I would have to leave my car with them for testing for "weeks" while they check to make sure I am affected by this and they "possibly have to get a Ford engineer involved". That scared me out of it, has anybody actually gotten this done?
