Just FYI I tried to go to my local Ford dealer about the Mercon transmission fluid and not only did it not appear in their TSB database, they had to search for it in some special system to even find a record of it. They also told me for something like that, I would have to leave my car with them for testing for "weeks" while they check to make sure I am affected by this and they "possibly have to get a Ford engineer involved". That scared me out of it, has anybody actually gotten this done?
The way I read the SSM 47093, it's to inform technicians to use the correct fluid when adding it after repair. I don't think it means that some cars were delivered from the factory with the wrong fluid.

This TSB (19-2201) only applies to 2018-2019 S550 5.0s with the auto trans and (DTC) P0420 and/or P0430.

I just picked up A CPO 2018 Gt A10 and transmission is jerky going from P to D. Should i get it checked Asap?

I had my PCM updated at the dealer for the exact issue. That was five months ago, so far hasn’t come back. Knock on wood.

Well, SSM 47361 fixed my A10. Works better than new now. My service department didn't even mind the mods. They just asked me to reinstall the stock airbox and stock tune, since they were going to baseline it anyway. The service tech said that the headers actually saved him a lot of time. Took 2 weeks, but that was mostly because they were backed up on other trans repairs.
Did they repair it or replace the whole unit? Any other damage?

TSB 20-2117; supersedes TSB 18-2160

Issue:
Some 2017-2018 F-150/Raptor, 2018 Expedition/Mustang/Navigator vehicles equipped with a 10R80 automatic transmission and built on or before 20-Nov-2017 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0741 and P1744 in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM). This may be due to a sticking torque converter clutch (TCC) valve in the main control valve body assembly. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the main control valve body.

My 2018 just developed the no upshift to 3rd (SSM 47361) same exact codes mentioned ...calling the dealer to get that process started.
