Adjusting the hood stops might help as i did, but is going leave a nasty gap between the fender and hood. Some people don't care but I do.

Has this problem turned into a major problem yet? I.E. hood flying completely up?

Maybe that is why ford offers the R grill on the non R 2019 models.

I can also confirm that my 18 R does not do this.

Ya my R has distracting hold movement above 115 or so.

Confusing. Is there a belief, or actual observations, that Rs do not do this? I find it hard to believe the tiny difference in the radiator aperture could make that difference.

When you are going speed of 120+ you usually not looking at your hood unless you read this thread and try it again. But be very aware of cars around you and be safe.

Agreed. When I'm traveling that fast I'm focused on the next turn coming up and timing the braking zone properly. For me it's not worth trying to focus on the hood rather than the track.

This part is very thin. Hard plastic on the mount side and soft rubber on the weatherstrip. It has three push anchors and they do not line up at all with the two holes in that area. None of the holes will work to align it properly and without anything then to guide the installation it will take some effort to locate it properly. I will save this for a rainy day.

You should cut of the 3 plastic pins and drill holes and install push pins to align it on your hood.

The hood flutter is in your line of sight. Meaning you can’t miss it. Unless you have narrow tunnel vision at the track, which imo is even worse.

I went ahead and cut off the three pins and then used Scotch high strength red tape across the entire surface. I used the GT photo and my own eye to align it. Seems like it wants to be closer to the fender as you can imagine how air is being distributed off of the nose. We shall see how she goes. Thanks again for spying these little guys!

I just did the same hehe. Only thing different, I aligned it to cover the holes and make sure it covers the end of the hood. I will provide more feedback after the Oct track day.
