Hey sorry if I'm in the wrong section. I Have a stock PP GT. M6 Looking for wheels upgrade. Question for drag racing. Which would be best 19 or 20s? Might be considering 4.10 gears later on. Thank you for ur answers.

Future mods are basic, CAI, Headers, CB exhaust, FR Cobra Jet intake. 47lbs injectors.

If it's strictly a drag racing set up you might want to consider going 17s back-18s front. Less rotating mass the better. If your just looking for a new set of wheels for the street. The difference between 19s and 20s is marginal but 19s would be better for performance.

If you wanted to drag race why did you go with the PP and the Torsen rear? That rear isn't designed for drag racing. Also 4.10's would be way overkill and not even available.

As far as tire size 17's would be best for drag racing.

I agree , 17's would be the best for drag racing, if your looking for something that looks more stock, here is what I did.

To be honest thats my first american car. and i barely know anything about drag racing and building them :) thats y I'm here to learn. Thats what i tought. That 17 or 18 are best for just drag racing. But i want something that looks nice and grips well on the track and street. So 19s it is :))). i also want to buy lightweight wheels. :) Ah question are BF Goodrich good DR's or should i just spend little more on MK or NItto?

The replicas are lighter. The setup works great! Use it on the track and the street.

Well I'm not gonna shot for a record, just gonna shoot for low 12's high 11's. Plus its more of a street car and i wanted a Big Brakes for safety.

Also why are the 4.10's are over kill? Im honestly really curious. i thought the higher the gear the better take off.

Good times man. 12.3 thats awesome and u got pretty light set up i think with 47lb injectors and e85 ud break 11s.

Thanks! The Nittos are great, sounds like just what you are looking for. I'm dying to head back to the track as I just switched to the Lund Flex tune. Currently running e85. Feels stronger , but the track times will let me know for sure. Next track day is the 15th of January

At some point you can over gear a car and no more gear isn't always the answer. You can't get 4.10's for your car anyways so it's a moot point.
