I put up a similar post in the suspension thread and got a lot of depending on.....
I'm going to post here because this seems to be where most all the higher horsepower guys are at. Stating it simply I need traction. According to my speed shop I'm sitting around 600rwhp and I want to get this power to the ground. My guy is recommending the Roush coil over triple adjust.? I like the price of the single adjust better. Lol. Anyone in here on them, and will this solve my problem or do I need track bars, ext? I am planning on going to a street slick this spring, any recommendations on brands? M/T is what I'm leaning towards.
I don't want to lower the car more than the 1" that most brands of shocks advertise. I don't care if I lose a little ride comfort as the car is just a weekend toy. But I do want to keep an all round handling car track days and strip. I'm not brand specific, just want something that works!
Thanks

I'm right there with you! If I'm rolling at 45 and punch it these Pirellis just spin. I love my wheels though, so I was waiting for 19x10 knockoffs to replace my 19" premium dark stainless in the back. Is there a decent tire that anyone would recommend for the stock wheel size in the meantime? I have a 19x8.5.

ev08904 hit it on the head. A set of Viking shocks and drag radials are a huge difference in traction.

I've run a set of 315/35-20 NTO5R's and a set of MT305/35-20's, both tires do a good job but the MT's are definitely better. Neither tire will hook like a bias ply at the strip, and none of these tires are safe in the rain. Aside from tires you'll need some bmr goodies and some Viking DA's.

Or, trade it for an auto!

You have the performance pack wheels though.... right? You should be able to fit 275's on those cause they're 9 inches wide.... or are you running 255's?
