She already ran an 11.7 with 1.5 60ft a few weeks ago
11.7 has been beaten by Dave Tittermary on a 1.61. If he had cut a 1.47, he would have run in the 11.3s. One glory run with a 9 second 60 foot needs to be backed up in my opinion.

Were the back seats deleted too or just the passenger seat?
That's what I read, no seats, meth, race gas, drag wheels.

I have cut 60 foots like that on low 9 second runs. I would like to see that backed up.

I agree. When did back up runs become non-existent? Too many variables involved to state one run as fact.

But he didn't. And plenty of 9 second cars cut 1.5+ 60fts

Well, it doesn't change the fact that it is one glory pass and it would be nice to see her back it up and verify it. You said she already went 11.7 on a 1.5x. There is quite a difference between an 11.7 and a 11.48...especially since one is an alleged "record" and the other isn't.

If she's driving in auto, like the rest of you that brag and post about your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, then why does she need to back it up since all you're doing is mashing a pedal to the floor?

Yeah, there is more to it than that and the 60 foot she cut is pretty stupendous for this car. I would like to see more than one pass with the same, or close to the same, time.

Personally, one pass or multiple passes, it was done. There is a slip and a video for proof. A glory pass still counts. I'm not big in to drag racing but what little I have watched, I've never seen "a best out of 3" so to speak. One pass and the fastest wins. And also, why it does it matter if she was running meth, race gas, seat delete, whatever? All of you that drag race run on drag radials and set up your car for a "glory pass". Right? When someone posts an awesome time on street tires, full weight, pump gas, and with a manual, then I will be impressed. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I get it "that's what you do", I just don't understand why there's an issue with this pass when I don't see anything different than what everyone else does.
Except she did it faster.

I kind of understand people asking for multiple passes instead of a glory pass. I'm sure a lot of people can do record setting glory pass but doing it 3+ times shows your not less likely to bend a rod or something and do those times pretty consistently. I live in S. Fl so I say hats off for being able to set a record wether it be a glory pass or not in this nasty ass hot humid weather. My only questions are can your average person get that tune and did the owner drive the car for that pass or did they use a professional driver which most of us aren't doing at the track.

People ask because it's pretty simple to crank it up, run a glory pass, and then never do it again. I personally don't care, but I will tell you that customers are less impressed when it only happens once, that is why so many people commented and followed David's post because he kept going faster and faster and faster, showing that the car is driven like that constantly. He has over 5 slips from back to back passes with 11.60's, I could of easily gave him a tune slot that ran 28+psi for one pass but what good is that when it's not how he runs it all the time?

Just like Mbrenin said, the run was all in the 60ft which is pretty much all the stock turbo is good for.

where if the ecoboost flex fuel tune?
There will not be a flex fuel tune for the EcoBoost, because the EcoBoost platform as a whole is already starved for fuel. By using a fueling option that has 40%less volume than pump gas you are only exacerbating that starvation issue.

Indeed... Also, not trying to call anyone out, but why does it look chopped? (White square around digits)... Must be the jpg compression
That is a video appears to be shot from a cell phone. That is probably why.

Mod list? Great time for a stock turbo car!
Were the back seats deleted too or just the passenger seat?
Just the passenger seat was removed. The rest of the car is stock weight. She is running Livernois tuning for VP Racing Fuels MS109, LMS 160° Tstat, FMIC, AiRaid CAI, WMI, slicks, skinnies, Race Star racing wheels and Stainless Works Turbo Back Exhaust. VP Racing Fuel MS109. Thanks for the compliment Blue_Demon, but we only did half of the work! Lexi did all of the mods and driving all we did was the tuning! She is a killer driver!

Lexi has also continued to go faster and faster.

Is indeed slower than

Now she is the fastest, by a good margin! :first: Again congrats Lilmisslexi080 :clap2:

We have spoken of her success, but she somehow she continued to fly under the radar. So this is far from a, to use Mike's epically overused reference to all of our success, a "glory run". What about the 2.3L racecar? That made several "glory runs" prior and post to losing at the EcoBoost Shootout. There has never been any rhetoric directed that way. We know that because we have a truly unique position and understanding of the platform that aids us in seeing the bigger picture that others cannot we will get more consternation shot our way. And that is okay, because like we said, we know that we are not for everyone nor do we try to be. When you have been in the industry as long as we have you are just more aware of what goes on in the industry since history repeats itself with the release of ever new car. We also know that often times what we post goes against the rest of the industry because they have had years convincing people to do things a certain way. We feel we have a better way because of this experience and longevity. That is a path we went down many years ago. We knew going into this new direction that it wouldn't be an easy path. The easy path is never what we wanted.

To your question Adam, Lexi started off as an "average person", as you referenced it. She listened to the expert advice we have her, ingested it all, followed the majority of it and continues to do so. Because of this subscription to our regimen, we continue to provide her with increasingly more aggressive support. We will continue to do so as well. Just like anyone else who chooses to do so.

SHE OWNS THE CAR. Where does the inkling that she could not possibly own this car come from? She is the owner, modder and driver, and not a professional driver like you imply! Girls race too Adam, have you ever heard of the Force girls? They're kind of a big deal!

We actually made more than that on the stock block!

She is actually waiting in line for some more work as soon as we can breathe a little bit. Our shop is almost completely full of cars, and our drivers are out on the road almost everyday for the next few weeks. So I could not tell you when that day she is going to get in, but hopefully it will be soon since Bradenton is in March. Unfortunately, we do have AutoRama coming up prior to that. We are interested in getting her hooked up!
