My apologies for not being clear. It has been a very long day at work today. I am anxiously awaiting a foolproof flex fuel option for the S550s. 93 during the week, and E85 on the way to the track, same tune. The holy grail for performance cars.This is a much better post. Yes, you don't need a sensor as the ECM will use fuel trims however, the GM calibrations that use fuel trims to compensate suck for multiple reasons. I am not sure if the widebands in the Ford use trims or have a built in alcohol sensor (which doesn't make sense).
If it is possible to use an alcohol sensor it will be much more accurate and react much faster but it looks like there is no provision in the cals for that. Unfortunate.
I run this in my C7 and it's awesome.
