nothing if you have a tune set up for it, to turn the fans on earlier.

can't really say for sure, our car runs really cool, not sure why some seem to be warmer than others, could be the fan settings

I've commanded my fans to come on 100% at 170 and it still runs 210-215 most of the time. I do not have the Performance Package and I do have an Auto. I am running a 160.

I have a feeling the combination of auto trans cooler (I assume it's part of the radiator like a lot of cars) and having the smaller base radiator is the cause.

I have a C7 with a 160 but it's a manual trans and it went from 210-215 ECT to 175 and will only rise if I let it idle long term in the summer.

Maybe people can post if they:

1. Have Performance package
2. Have an auto
3. the effect of the thermostat

I have a PP, 170 thermostat and whipple SC. The highest temps that I see are 185; maybe 186. That is after my Lund tune. Before, without changing my tune for the thermostat I would see 196.

But, if you are going to change the thermostat, save yourself time and get a hose clamp. I used one and didn't have to drain my radiator. Didn't even crawl under my car for it lol.

you guys suggest a therm swap for a N/A 6spd on e85? normally my cylinder temp is between 205-210. Never really thought it was an issue. before this thread i never would have even thought about it. Thanks.
