Hopefully getting my 16 before Christmas. This will be the first car I will mod and it has enough power for a DD (for now.)

Getting the PP but what suspension mods should I look at getting to impove it?

So many BF deals figured I should take advantage.

Many do CAI and tune, than cat back exhaust. There is a good BMR thread on suspension. Depends on your goals and budget

I did an ARH long system with JLT CAI with a Lund tune. I also swapped out the rims for some 20x10s, 285 up front and 305 out back.

I have a '15 GTPP and went the Steeda route for my suspension upgrades. You can view my build thread and see all the Steeda parts I had them install.

It totally transformed the handling of the car. Reduced 85%+ of the wheel hop, too.

Reach out to David@Steeda for great pricing and their Black Friday deals. You will not be disappointed, I promise you that. I have helped make many recommendations to others and they all fell in love

Hey! Thanks Todd15Fastback for the tag!

SynisterGT I just sent you a pm :) although many customers start off with our Stage 1 Handling Pack (springs and adjustable sway bars) and pair it with our IRS 'Stop the Hop' pack.

As I mentioned in the pm, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions at all.

Thanks

I would do CAI + Tune + X-pipe or H-Pipe (resonator delete)... then maybe headers+tune.

You might just like the sound of that. ALL the aftermarket catbacks are loud, like real loud.

Steeda & BMR have some amazing products to get the IRS from moving around so much. I went with a combo of both companies parts. Check my build if you're interested.

My full exhaust from ARH is very loud when I want it to be but very tame at highway speeds with the cruise set. Very easy to hold a conversation. Unlike my muffler deletes on my 08 GT, lol

My sig is in order of purchase.

Catch can immediate mod, suggest hood struts here.

CAI, tune, coolant tank, oil choice and T-stat all at same time.

Exhaust/headers together.

Suspension done together due to alignment.

Cosmetics as you want them.

Exhaust I am either doing Corsa Extreme or a Roush / H pipe delete.

Hoods struts check. Will order those.

Mainly suspension mods, which to do first, seeing as how I have enough power (for now) this being my DD.

Well, it really depends on what you want to do with the car.

Honestly, the PP set-up has a lot of potential in terms of performance. We thrashed ours pretty hard on a drag strip and road course before outfitting it with our full suspension system, and it worked great in stock form with good tires. As a matter of fact, I often times recommend people against a lot of parts - and they end up with our CB005 Lockout Kit, with some good tires and call it a day, happily.

The (primary) weakness of this car is the sloppiness of the rear IRS cradle and suspension components. The front can use some help, but it is not as crucial for a street car.

There are a lot of components that we and others offer that, honestly, don't really make much difference for a street car that does not put high amounts of force and load through the chassis. Those things would be like, Strut Tower Braces, Braces for the front Subframe, Rear Cradle Braces or Systems, Subframe Connectors and so on. Fact of the matter is, this car's chassis is a performer and those items add unnecessary weight for a street car. Another item that doesn't "really" need to be used on most people's street driven S550's are the adjustable toe links that are available. The OEM Toe Links work pretty well....and if the car is not being raced hard on a sticky tire, I usually do not recommend the aftermarket pieces.

So, on that note, the parts that will make the largest "wow" factor when behind the wheel will be:

-Good Tires
-Performance Springs
-Shocks/Struts
-Sway Bars
-Rear IRS Cradle Enhancements (main mounts, and the differential mounts)
-Rear Suspension Bushing Upgrades (RLCA, Knuckle, Upper Camber Links)

If you are sensitive to NVH increase, then you may want to save the differential mount upgrades for last.

In terms of BMR Parts - I typically start people off with:

SP080 (Performance Lowering Springs)
SB043 (Front/Rear Sway Bar Kit) - *If better handling is wanted*
CB005 (Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit)
TCA045 (Billet Vertical Links)
BK055 (Rear Lower Control Arm Bearing Upgrade)

Then I assist the customer going forward, based on their needs after these components are installed an tested. I would say 70-80% of the time, this "does it" for the customer.

We are currently offering a 15% off and free shipping sale on our components, so you get an even better deal than our already killer prices right now. If you have ANY questions about your set-up, don't hesitate to ask!

Happy Modding!:headbang:

Driver mod. Do some HPDEs. You can thank me later :)

But if you really want to buy stuff for your baby, I'd agree with BMR's list. Check out better brake pads too.
