He's either talking about the non R running 12.4, or the automatic SS running 12.1 or 12.0 or whatever it is. I'm fine if people are bothered by the car not being stellar in the quarter mile, but I just say that there is a world of other options out there for them.

The fact that this car is trapping 3-5MPH higher than the SS while running a similar ET is only more proof of its purpose.

I still don't understand why there is still so much self loathing analyzing going on with the 0 - 60 and 1320 especially against the Alpha Camaro. It's very simple. Low. End. Torque. It's just no there. A Yote makes just as much low end torque as the Voodoo until 3200 RPM comes along and it also doesn't have that awful plateau from 240 - 260 lb ft for nearly 700 RPM

Here Ford is, building a car that's bringing over BMW M owners, Porsche owners, and full blown exotic owners in droves because of its emphasis on being what the epitome of a driver's car is. Something that the automotive industry seems to have lost in the search for more impressive stats on a magazine page, or MPG. It's winning every single performance car award, including one involving the new LT4 Z06, the Viper ACR, and the Ferrari 488. All the while, we have people whining because it's not as fast in a straight line from a dead stop only as an automatic Camaro SS.

I just don't get it.

I hope the Camaro is a great performer and it attracts some buyers away from the GT350 to lower the ADM. Especially on the R.

That is an auto. The 6spd was 12.4 according to Hot Rod..

The auto isn't a proper comparison.
