My car has a few minor body fitment issues but I bought it off the lot I knew what I was getting and it wasn't that big a deal, I didn't want anything to be fixed by my dealership or anyone else for that matter. I like it just fine as is.
There was one PP car that I looked at where the paint was chipped away on the pass side front fender edge from contact with the door during opening. I pointed this out to the salesman but wonder if it was ever addressed as the car is still on the lot for sale and that was two and a half months ago.
So no hating here, just my two cents.
Is this car a 350? Is so then post pics of the car and the problems.

These kind of flaws are pretty prevalent across all S550 models. Been countless threads on build quality since the car hit the streets. I'm just wondering why Ford hasn't clamped down yet on some of these common build quality problems? It's the 2nd year of production now. I believe most of it is assembly line issues. Slow the line down 10% and build quality would probably increase noticeably. Slappin' them together too fast without enough assembly finesse!
And so how do you know there are prevalent issues across the 350 line? Sounds like of all the 350's so far, the actual owners have no gripes but one guy who has no car has gripes... Sheesh.

If you've read this board much, you would have seen countless threads about many quality issues across all models of the S550. Not ALL cars have issues, but there have been plenty that have them, so pretty "prevalent". Hopefully Ford has tried to cure some of those issues for the 2016 run, although some 2016 buyers have already posted about the same old quality issues. If it continues into the GT350 line then you'll be reading about it as these cars are built and bought.

Just scan the thread titles in the "Issues, Repairs, Warranty, TSB, Recalls" forum. I'd be pretty surprised if the GT350 gets any "special treatment" during manufacturing, so some of them may exhibit the same issues as all the other S550 models coming off the assembly line. Time will tell ... so stay tuned to find out. The one the OP posted about looks to have some of the common things seen throughout the 2015 model run. Not trying to "bum out" anybody ... just saying based on the past, it's possible you GT350 guys will be noticing some minor quality issues that not everyone is gonna be happy about after you get it home.

I have 779 posts, including this one... Do you assume I don't know about the S550 finish n fit ordeals?

I have a perfectly legitimate concern for those of you bashing 350's you haven't seen for build quality issues. There are what... 7 or 8 on the registry, give or take a few that haven't added theirs yet, and I haven't seen one come on this thread and hack Ford yet.

Reserve the drama for when you see it first hand.

Nobody is bashing the GT350. Some are concerned about quality, and given the issues with the regular Mustang and the similarities to the GT350, rightfully so. Obviously some cars will be almost perfect, while others will have minor issues. I'm sure we all hope to have a flawless car, but chances are high that some of us will have issues and we'll need to decide how to handle things. Nothing wrong with thinking about that a bit in preparation for your own delivery. It also helps to know where to look for issues so you can get them documented during delivery.

Its pretty sad when most of the comments don't have to do with an actual issue...just suspecting their might be one. That is exactly how rumours of problems get started. People have nothing better to do that make shit up.

If that's the case, then you should understand that it's very possible the GT350 will share some of the same quality issues as all the other S550 models.

Time will tell when guys start getting them home and looking at them closely. Stay tuned ...

Isn't that what I have been saying?... Yet you don't hear me spreading rumor even though I have laid hands on five of these cars and have driven one as well.

You guys are conjecturing off of hearsay which is strictly needless foul rumor and speculation.

Doesn't matter anyways... All of them will sell and I'll bet you 90+% of owners will be happy with the car in whole.

^^^ Nobody is "spreading rumors". It's pretty easy to understand that based on all the previous quality issues that it's very possible issues could carry over to the GT350. Just saying don't be "surprised" when owner's post up about issues already seen throughout the 2015 model year. This is not a hard concept to grasp.

Unless Ford is treating them with some kind of "special attention", what's going to be done differently to ensure all GT350s are built to higher quality standards then the rest of the Mustangs coming off the assembly line?

I've finally had a chance to look my car over very well, It has one alignment issue on pass sail area by trunk lid. I might see if dealer can pull that side up, but I might not. Either way the car is not lessened in any way to me.I can't say I've ever had a car without at least ONE thing, usually several.

Do you have a GT350 order?
No ... does it matter?

bullittman - common alignment issue seen, no surprise. Not much adjustment in the hinges, plus hard to keep the whole elevation along the gap even between the trunk lid and fender. Correct it in one place, mess it up in another type of deal. I've tried it myself on mine and it came out a little better. Can't hurt to try and see how it come out.
