Question. So suppose you get the tune from Ford Racing and it's covered for the 32k warranty right? So what if you buy the extended warranty to 100k? Will ford cover the tune to the 100k?

and that is why it makes more sense to just get a 3rd party tune so you can KEEP your factory warranty. IF it is true that you can just hide the flash and they will never knowNo as stated earlier in the thread this warranty that you would have is no longer the original factory warranty. You would be covered under the Ford racing warranty only for whatever amount of time (most likely 3 years/36k miles). So if you get the Ford racing tuner after having your car for 2 years, then you will be under warranty for 1 more year. AND to get that warranty you would have to have the tune installed by the dealer so there is no hiding it
see post #192 by tune+I guess it depends on the dealer checking for diagnostic codes if they were to know that you flashed the car.. I read somewhere that they won't know if you reflash back to stock and drive for a 100 miles or so.
I can't confirm this and would like to know. I remember when I had to smog my g35 after I just reconnected the battery.. the smog guys said I have to drive it for 90 miles before the computers are ready to be tested.
He posted a dyno for his etune and "free" tune.Wait wait wait. Explain that last sentence. Isn't the free tune the same as the e-tune... except the e-tune is just so you can keep pestering him after more mods? Lol
Or is it actually more comprehensive than the free tune?
Cycle not start. Insert key, turn till everything powers up except the engine. Thanks I read that.. however, I'm not sure if you have to push the start button cycling it on/off 67+ times or start the car on/off..
I replied but haven't heard anything yet..
We don't have a key to insert :shrug:Cycle not start. Insert key, turn till everything powers up except the engine.
Just a button. LolNo ignition either?
