I'm at about 1500 miles and decide it's time to go in for my free oil change from the dealership. I have an MMR cold air and a tune, should I put the stock intake back on? Or do you think they would care just doing an oil change? I have the platinum 75000 warranty from them

I took mine in with all my mods, wasn't a problem I didn't change anything back to stock.

Shouldn't be an issue unless you're having issues with the car. I wouldn't sweat it for routine maintenance.

I just rolled into my dealer with my tech number in the window, drag radials on the car, and even had them put in a non-standard oil. They were more worried about talking about the car and the numbers.

Baha nice. That makes me feel a lot better. And yeah I heard it's better to get it change around 1800 for a new car. There's like metal shavings and crap in the oil you need to get out. Idk I read it somewhere lol

My very first change was at 300 miles. They were like "you sure?" I replied- It was break in oil, and it's broken in.

I usually do my own but I was in the neighborhood and wanted to tool around looking at the Roush cars on the lot and shoot the shit so I had the oil done. I'm at a hair over 4000 miles.

What happens if you're tuned and they update your ECU without telling you? They override your tune and that's no Bueno.

You would be fukt. That's why I would a) leave a note on the OBDII connector or b) return back to stock/uninstall tune.

My AP is plugged in all the time and the OBDII connection has a tag that says DO NOT REMOVE.

My dealer actually did this accidentally to someone's supercharged 3v and it sat there for weeks until the tuner was sent back to SCT, unlocked, and they could reflash it. And my dealer is really cool and never hassles me about my mods. I have a red plug that covers the obd2 port and it has a big do not flash logo on it.....you can pick them up off the bay for like $12.......

People go to dealer for oil changes? I did this with a previous car and they wrote down all my mods. Thank goodness nothing went boom. It was an import though.
