I have the cobb accessport for my ecoboost. I just installed my catless downpipe and I need a tune for it .

I figured the accessport had one for this on it already since it's a common mod but I'm assuming it doesn't since I get the code p0420.

What is the average cost to have a tune sent to me ?
No other mods as of yet ,just the dp.

Damn I didn't think it'd be that much considering how much the handheld itself cost. I guess I'll have to put the catted dp back on for a while.

I'm not disputing the price as I know tunes are worth it. But I'm coming from the 5 liter world and a tune was considerably cheaper . So it just kinda caught me off guard.

Vibrant makes some decent defoulers that work well in situations like these. No need to tune the codes out in software, which makes things all that easier for emissions testing. Vibrant # 11619, J style which fits perfectly for our EBMs too.

We supply the same one with our offroad (catless) downpipes and turbobacks, works very well and has a few orifices that are included to get it right for your application.

Hit me up for a good deal on these too if your interested.

Honestly, that's dirt cheap with the amount of time and service you get with it! He put my basically stock Eco in the 11's with an ATM FMIC, Tune and tires. I literally sent him some extra money last week because he's been helping me sooo much!! He's done dozens of tunes for me and every single time I pick up & go faster. The amount of work he puts into it is literally just about priceless to me :) Not to mention I get 32-34mpg running e30 and I've never had any issues or codes thrown period....

250 is really cheap to be honest. Adam has done over 20 revisions for me between 93, e30, and Economy tune all while working with me through an episode of re-tuning since my first few data logging runs was with lower quality gas. He's a smart ass :), but he's an incredible tuner and gets the job done.

There is an option from Adam to do a single tune for $75. But if you add more stuff... colder plugs intercooler ext. Than you'll have to pay for another tune. At $250 you have a lifetime tune for future mods.

A good dyno tune cost $500-600 for the single tune, so $250 for unlimited revisions is an absolute steal.

I won't even have my car for another 8 months and I'm tempted to buy the E-Tune just in case.
