the best tstat option out there is the RatStat 170, unlike all the rest its a cold side tstat instead of a hot side, far more effective.
Nearly all our F150 and SHO tuned customers run them, time for the EBM group to realize the benefits as well...
Good to know. How long ago did you get yours? So it would appear they are aware of the issue. it should be a decent bang for your buck IC in the end I beleive. I wouldnt expect most customers to be to thrilled with a plug and play kit thats not quite that.
FYI ......I picked one of these up on impulse recently, PLEASE STAY AWAY from it until they iron out the multitude of problems during installation. the IC itself looks decent, has a good price point, and will satisfy the large majority of EBM owners needing an upgraded IC.......
.....however...
Finally had some time to install the koni/vogtland kit i got from BCB. Install was easy about 2-3 hours, fought the rear end only a bit to get enough room to remove the stock springs back there.
Drop- the amount of drop looks great, not crazy low but enough to support a more aggressive...
nothing wrong with an ebay IC. heck if it does its job well, then kudos to you! BCB has been the leading tuner and performance parts provider for Saabs and there are only 2 or 3 drop in ICs available. My customers ebay ICs have been kicking those drop ins asses at 1/4 of the cost.
you should get the plugs. just be careful gapping as these Denso's are prone to failure if done incorrectly. NGK also makes a similar plug that performs just as well.
i havent seen loss with the Krona turboback on the dyno, actually didnt see any appreciable torque gains though at all. What we did see though is an extra 20whp up top while on the stock tune. Adding any good free flowing exhaust like Krona Performance should see similar results...
IME Stock airboxes have been pretty damn efficient for quite some time now. Intakes arent going to add gains, yes someone will just do pull after pull after pull until they get results for marketing. if anything the stock filter element will be the restriction.
But - they look great and sound...
I echo alot of the positive sentiment here already. i came from driving turbocharged Saabs exclusively for the past 10 years, even built a very successful global aftermarket brand through my enthusiasm. i didnt buy the ebm as a because its a mustang or as a business decision, although i can't...
your not the only one. ive helped quite a few others who have bought Bama. i also tune with SCT and youve got the hardware already. go BCB and you'll be happy:cheers:
whoa theyre pardner, no copies of anything going on with Krona  Keep in mind it is a downpipe and there are only so many ways to make it work.
check out the rest of the exhausts we offer by Krona, its a unique brand built upon grassroots. Very far from any of the mega brands...
BOOSTED SVO hit that nail right on the head. peak numbers from any rando dyno shouldnt mean much to anyone without a baseline. no point in spouting off peak numbers without showing true gains.
my opinion on the dyno, looks to be in the ballpark for a tuned ebm.
id recommend this order:
catch can
Intercooler
Downpipe
tune
meth
tune
Intake, catbak, bov, and other noise makers can come last or whenever really.
theres also the questions of suspension mods too, or are you just looking for power right now?
plugs and/or gap likely need to be changed to resolve the missfires. gap to .030", i recommend NGK 6510 plugs.
the o2 sensor stuff obviously from your catless downpipe. hit me up if you want a tune to turn that off. we have SCT X4 and custom tune for $399.
have you touched, or done anything...
